I have one of these in Thailand. It's called the Aerox here. I agree with everything you say. Too much power for the chassis and suspension. I am jammed into position on the seat [I am 6ft], and the lousy suspension, coupled with my feet being in front of me, has brought an old back problem on. I am going to sell it and possibly buy an Exciter 150. Incidentally, I watched your old Exciter video in late 2016. Just watched it again which has brought me back to the channel. I find the three videos I have viewed so far as interesting, so I have subscribed.

Travelled close to 3000kms through VN on a 2018 model rental. Was good value as a rental and really comfortable compared to the Honda Futures I’d previously traversed the country on. Those pointy bits were a bug bear on the knees as mentioned

Rode the NVX from Danang to HCMC. Loved the power, loved having a usb plug available for the phone. Looks nice and aggressive.
But DAMN if they fucked it up with the ergonomics. I'm 178cm and I felt cramped, knees/shin touching those triangular pointy bit, so so annoying. It's really my only grip with the bike, Had to have my knees pointed outwardly which hurts after a few hours of ride.
If they fix this, it's my perfect bike for small roadtrip in VN!

      Thanks!
I'm 180cm. I rode a Click in Thailand and an Airblade in southern Vietnam. The Airblade is more comfortable than the Click, but the Click has more acceleration and better brakes. (The Click was a 2022 and the Airblade a 2020, which may impact.)
I found a rental place in Danang whose new bikes are NVX and I'm tempted, but I really don't wanna spend a month with my legs hitting the dash.

What do you think about Honda PCX?

not really drive it to be honest. But, had a small go. For the size of the bike, it feels small. Same problem as the Yamaha NVX. If you are going to get a big scooter, it needs to actually feel big. PCX fails here.

Those fat tyres absorb the bumps perfectly

Agreed, the NVX is not a great bike. Airblade > NVX

@@Tigitmotorbikes Do you think the Airblade is the best recent vintage 150cc to tour Vietnam?
Trying to find something newish with ABS, phone charging, and plenty of acceleration.
