Man I remember playing this with a good friend of mine who is still my friend even this day, at a local game shop here in jamaica. This game will always hold a special place in my heart.
Still think this is the best Dragonball fighting game there is. It's not perfect though. It'd be great if fusions lasted forever like potara and there could always be more characters and fun fusions like in budokai 2
Waiting for the day when they finally decide to make DBZ Budokai 4 w/ ALL CHARACTERS + the new one's (BEERUS, WHIS, SSJ GOD BLUE, GOLDEN FREEZA, GOKU BLACK, ZAMASU, THEIR FUSION, VEGETO SSJ GOD BLUE, ETC). Also, they would have to make a lot more stages to battle, and make online mode to battle against people and form your own team, not changing the game mechanics, only adding extra attacks and combos. This is something they should do and not these crap they be putting out.

Definitely agree Gremorise, I've played Budokai 1- Tenkaichi 3 (not including Tenkaichi 1) and I can say with certainty that Budokai 3 was my favorite, Tenkaichi is just plain overrated.

Tenkaichi wasn’t really good combat wise this why budokai was the peak at the time but fighterZ came to bring life back into the fighting can’t wait for fighterZ 2 or budokai 4

In this game the good point is that fusion is IN battle game. It is amazing! They included a "fail" fusion! And the metamoru fusion has a time limit! This always surprise me! The Tenkaichi is always on top of preferece but never got this level of detail! The only negative point is that the fusion uses the simple Kame Hame Ha and Garlick Gun. They could use his signature moves!

A sadly forgotten work. I wish that dbz fighters z and other dbz games would had taken more mechanics and elements from this great game. The Budokai Tenkaichi saga took more importance and this one was left over. I have great memories of this PS2 title 🫶

This game really needed an option to make Metamoran Fusion _Permanent._ I mean, Dragon Universe has the fusion be permanent for the story stages; the least they could do is give the players the option.
Soul punisher is Gogeta's attack from the movie Fusion Reborn against Janemba. Same for Vegito. It's cool that they mimic moves and special abillities from the movies.
Otaku_GameFan It's most likely video editing. I used to do that and what it is is you play the game with the music turned off and once you start editing it, you add your own music to it.
***** Yep. When you go to options, there should be an 2 two types of volumes. One for BGM (Background music) and another which is SFX (Sound Effects). Just turn off the bgm and play with no music then once you put it on editing software like Sony Vegas or Windows Movie Maker, you can add your own custom music and it will play along with the SFX of the game.
Actually, there is a special way to add the Original Music without any edits or softwares. Just Kenji Music in the Game like the ps2, but it requires a modded Console or if you use Xbox- Modio
