Great race Giorgio! You're moving up the ranks just like I thought you would. Right now I think it's more of a mental game than anything. Next race set a goal for like 12th or something. Once you achieve it, your confidence and physical condition will just get better. I believe in ya buddy!! You can do it! 👍👊💪
Like I said on Sunday, you deffo haven’t lost the skills side of things, but I really wasn’t expecting to be able to sit on your wheel so well on the drags. Sack the gym off mate, Sarah will love you however 👀😂 see you Sunday for R2
My dad said that little climb into the woods he couldn’t seem to get the back wheel down and keep the power maybe too much pressure. Also keep the biceps 💪🏻 going
@GiorgioCoppolaCycling well done, good race. I relate to “i am fine when I don t pedal”. In the techy or more mountain biky stuff, having the eye for the correct racing line, late braking and core balance is not something you loose but fitness… In the old man category, i cannot find my leg so let me know if you find a shop that sells them… And it gets worse when your kid win in their race… 😂
I think it's less about big biceps and more about specificity. Gotta ride the bike as much as possible. Carrying muscle weight will have an effect, but no where near like carrying fat. Strong arms help in bike handling.
Yeah lack of riding hasn’t helped but looking at my numbers they haven’t dropped that much… however if I look at them in terms of power to weight it’s a massive difference 😅

🙌 yep my head definitely goes at about the 40 min mark but hopefully with some more races in the legs I will be able to survive the full hour 🤞

Yeah maybe too much pressure as he definitely lost a lot of speed on that section! Or maybe he just had too much power 😂
