Baldwin IV of Jerusalem - DESOLATION (edit)

Baldwin IV, called the Leper King, was King of Jerusalem from 1174 until his death in 1185. He was admired by his contemporaries and later historians for his willpower and dedication to the Latin kingdom in the face of debilitating leprosy, which eventually left him blind and unable to use either his hands or his feet. King Baldwin the IV had a terrible illness but still did good despite of it. He teaches me that you can do good despite of everything that is against you. You just have to be strong and keep going. You can do what is right despite your problems, just like he did. I respect and admire him for that.
