Also, you could make coffee ice cubes so you could add way more ice without watering it down to make it thicker! And more “frozen”!

John, I'm telling you, as someone who used to work at Cold Stone Creamery, you should skip the ice cubes in the shake.
When I was working, I would take my own small bottle of kahluah from home and at the end of the night, after closing, what I would do is measure my kahluah and a little splash of rum into the blender, then milk, then three scoops of ice cream. NO ice.
Usually I use a blend of coffee and vanilla ice creams and sometimes chocolate. ONE of my favorites is vanilla bean.
I blended my after-work shake, poured it into a tall cup with a cap and popped that into the freezer to wait until after closing and cleanup all got done. Then I could lock the door and walk out with my shake. And who was ever going to look twice at what was in that cup? I always had a wonderful evening after working.
Another of my FAVORITE shakes to make after work involves 2-3 shots of rum, orange juice, mango puree, coconut syrup, a splash of vanilla syrup (or extract), pineapple chunks, banana, and strawberries... and sometimes raspberries or blackberries.
Scoop in vanilla ice cream and blend.
Cup it, top with whipped cream. Straw.
That's my pina colada shake.
That's also why I'm fasting today, to recover from the weight-gain. JS.
But trust me... it was SO WORTH IT.

I love Baileys, so I would've gone for the milkshake too. Both are a real treat for any chocolate lover. I would want a kid version, however, without the alcohol since Baileys was a favorite of mine pre-cancer. I pretty much drink purified water for everyday anymore. Thanks, John!

As someone who used to work at Cold Stone creamery and who brought my own kahlua from home to make these shakes for myself, I can tell you that coffee ice cream does the deed, quite nicely.

I do not like coffee, so for mine, I use Godiva Chocolate Liqueur instead of Kahlua. 😋.
