This Ariel may have killed the prince to regain some sort of 'mermaid power', and that skull she wears hanging off her top? Is probably the prince's and the princess that he chose over her.
Actually, her sisters give her that option before she becomes sea foam. It's that choice to die rather than kill them that redeems her in the original. Before that, she's basically a self-centered stalker. She "fell in love" with the prince when he was unconscious, saved only him out of a whole ship of people, never even heard him speak or saw him do anything before becoming boil the bunny obsessed, and inserted herself in his life with zero consideration of him having his own wants and needs independent of her. She's pretty creepy as a character right up until that end.
i always thought she should have killed the prince. andersen was quite savage with this story, the censored one. the uncensored one is savage and christian bigotry
I felt the same way. I just read the original fairy tale, and I immedietly thought that maybe this is how the sea witch was able to turn her back, after killing the prince. That's why she didn't turn into seafoam, or became the wind.
Oh, incase someone doesn't know. In The original fairy tale, little mermaid's sisters sold their hair to help their sister. They told little mermaid that she has to kill the prince before sunrise on the day after his wedding, in order to become a mermaid again. This is why I feel like this Ariel would have slayed the prince.
"It's a very in a nutshell version of a events." I'll say! Wow. For people who don't know the original: he doesn't just reject her; he takes in the mute naked girl that shows up in his doorstep and treats her like a pet. She sleeps on a pillow (still naked btw) outside his door. In the end she chooses to turn into sea foam rather than kill him, because despite that the prince dehumanizes her and marries the pretty, rich princess from the kingdom next door (the sea witch is a neutral character in the story), she still loves him. In the end, the little mermaid becomes a "daughter of the air" and gets a chance to earn her way into heaven. Oh, her reason for wanting to marry the prince? So she could share his soul and go to heaven when she dies, because mermaids are soulless creatures. Apparently. P.S. It's been said Anderson wrote the story as a way of expressing how he felt about his homosexuality. Irredeemable and non-human in the eyes of most, but with a hope for redemption after death. Something like that. He was in love with his best friend. Disney took some real liberties with the story.
Don’t forget.. every step felt like she was walking on knives. In spite of this, the little mermaid danced beautifully for the prince and his court every night.
An easy way her version of Ariel could fit in even better with the original is with just one decision. Ariel's 6 sisters traded their hair for a magical dagger from the sea witch. If Ariel killed the prince with this dagger she could become a mermaid again. It was her decision to throw away the dagger and accept her death that ultimately led to her becoming a 'daughter of the air'. What if her Ariel didn't throw away the dagger? Choosing to kill the man who, despite her love, married another. Her anger in that moment could have twisted her return transformation, creating the more horrific, botched appearance she created

Possible twisted princess ideas: - Aurora, permanently transfigured by the magic of Maleficent's curse, finds herself able to channel dark powers. Rather than marrying Prince Phillip, she is disgusted at him because he kissed her comatose form, thus violating any form of consent (and perhaps you could go back to the original fairytale and have him violate her as well?), and because of this she decides to run away to the forest. From there, she enslaves Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather and bewitches them, forcing them to help her wreak havoc on her assaulter. - Snow White, although awoken by the prince's kiss, is forever damaged by the poison in the apple, and is not exactly alive anymore. Rather, she is a zombie-like child with a taste for revenge and the flesh of those who bowed into submission under her stepmother. Alternatively, she discovers the magic mirror and becomes just as corrupted under its power as her stepmother, becoming vain and cruel and threatening the lives of anyone attempting to question her power and status as fairest of them all. - Cinderella manages to summon her fairy godmother a second time between her running away from the ball and the prince starting a search party for her. Rather than allowing her fate to fall into another's hands once again, she steals the magic wand so that she can control her future. Although she initially uses her newfound power for good and finds an apparent happy ending, the temptation to hurt those who hurt her in the past becomes too overwhelming, and she decides to use the wand to make the lives of her stepmother and stepsisters a living hell. Alternatively, reference the Brothers Grimm version of the fairytale and utilize some gore and body horror. - Although intrigued by the outside world, the abuse Rapunzel faced at the hands of Mother Gothel has irreparably damaged the poor girl, and she lives in constant fear and paranoia that someone will hurt her that way again. Alternatively, she becomes a slave to the weight of her own hair and physically cannot leave her tower and must sit wasting away in her own filth. Another alternative: rather than her magic flowing out of her and saving Flynn once her hair is cut, Rapunzel's magic simply becomes more concentrated and combines with her pain at losing her one true love, transforming her into a demonic or lich-like being with the power to heal, but also to seriously wound if you cross her. - Aladdin is not there to come to Jasmine's rescue when she steals an apple to give to the poor, and rather than listening to her pleas that they pardon her because she is the princess, the royal guard follows the name of the law gives her the proper punishment: he cuts off her hand. Hardened by the experience, she eventually ascends to the throne and becomes the undisputed sultana of Agrabah, ruling her kingdom with a single iron fist. Anyone who crosses her will face her wrath, and not even the strongest person can survive the ferocious bite of a tiger... - Anna, rather than eventually freezing solid due to Elsa's deadly blast, instead ends up with a corrupted heart and a body coursing with icy blood. She finds herself with powers just as strong as Elsa's, but instead of eventually learning to use them for good, her fractured soul leads her on a murderous rampage across Arendelle, freezing anyone who stands in her way. Alternatively, follow Disney's original plan and make Elsa the cruel and wicked ice queen. - Alice does not/cannot leave Wonderland. Instead, in order to save herself from an oncoming beheading, she murders the Queen of Hearts and assumes the throne, eventually becoming just as mad as everyone else in this world. - Gaston, through some twist of fate, survives the fall from the Beast's tower and escapes back to the village. Simultaneously, Belle does not reach the Beast in time to save him. After watching him die, she goes to seek comfort in the living objects in his castle, only to find that they have permanently become the inanimate version of the objects they embodied because the spell was not broken. Alone and heartbroken, Belle searches for solace in the only thing she knows cannot fail her -- books -- and locks herself in the vast library. Through her reading, she discovers that her mother was the sorceress who cursed the Beast, and she dedicates herself to learning how to harness the power she has inherited. Eventually just as powerful as her mother once was, she sets out on a mission to curse everyone who ruined her life, starting with the man who killed her one true love... - Merida decides that she wants to learn how to harness the magic that transformed her mother into a bear. The witch agrees to teach her, but at a price. She accepts, because she is eager to learn. Unfortunately, the cost of learning how to use the magic of the forest and the will-o-the-wisps is something which changes her life forever: she begins to turn into a bear herself. - Once she becomes human again, Tiana, while working to open her restaurant, secretly begins to study the art of voodoo, determined to learn how to use it in a way that will benefit her but not lead her to the same fate as Doctor Facillier. Unfortunately, this plan backfires on her, and she becomes just as corrupt as he was.
Cinderella’s step sisters cut off their own toes and part of their heel to fit into the shoe in the Brothers Grimm version. Perhaps a body-horror heavy Cinderella could work?
@@RimFaxxe In the Brothers' Grimm Cinderella, one of the step sisters cut off her toes and the other cut off part of her heel to fit. It's grim, but it indeed is how it happened.

I accualy love the czech version aaaaway more than the disney movie its way closer to the original story from h.c. Anderson, it hits me every time right in the feels when she walks on the beach and her feet bleed with everystep
In his story her sisters talked to the witch and they got a knife and if Ariel would kill the prince with that knife she would become a human again but she loved him too much to kill him and died instead. So your versión definitely decided to kill him! 😂
Her body died, but she became of of the air creatures who help people in hope they could reach cristian immortality one day. Mermaids according to Anderson dont have a soul, they live very long but become part of the sea in the end. Thats the meaning of a story.
@@natkindraws yes! I was to lazy to add that too. Thanks for doing that. Also the prince wasn't an asshole by rejecting her. She couldn't speak and didn't know anything about the human world so he couldn't connect to her. But at least he cared for her and took her on journeys
Yes, mermaids would normally become seafoam. Since she didn't kill the prince and thus sacrificing her only way to become a mermaid again, she became a creature of the air helping people. Also, the prince never knew she rescued him. She rescued him from the sea and pulled him ashore. She marveled at his handsomeness and fell in love. She went back to the sea when she heard someone approach, a beautiful human girl. The prince woke up and they both fell in love. As said before, no one knew the mermaid was really the rescuer. I think both humans were good people for when she aapeared on the beach, both felt sorry and took care of her. She was traveling with them on their honeymoon..
Added to say, Marina, your Ariel is beautiful. I could see her seducing many sailors to their deaths. Not what you would normally think of Ariel, but this is her dark side.

OMG I LOVE HER! She's so creepy-beautiful. Leaving her eyes without irises and pupils was the perfect choice. Love the tail, love how you somehow came up with the idea of making her legs partially visible...truly, truly amazing job!

Thank you very much for your wonderful doll creations! I never miss a video. Every week Friday. Stay safe 🤗 🌹
This doll is amazing, and the evil mermaid look is so cool! I love how you made the fin half legs, half fishtail that is really creative and I LOVE it!!!!! Also, her backstory is good to, but I felt like you didn’t know how to put the corruption of the mermaid into the original story. But you explained more the whole transformation sequence and it really give me a lot of ideas on how can it work. ( I’m gonna use Andersen’s version, and I’m gonna call the little mermaid Ariel because It’s more gonna be more simple.) So when the Ariel got to participate the price’s wedding, she hated every single minutes of it. Not only she had to see her beloved prince getting married to another woman, but she had to participate and dance while every step she took was torture for her. It felt like she was stepping on knives. She knows when the sun comes down she will be turned into sea foam, she looked at the ocean one last time and when just she’s just about to jump, her sisters swimming towards the ship with a potential solution. They tell her they traded their hair to the sea witch for a magic knife and if she stabs the price with it on the heart and let his blood trip to her feet, she can become a mermaid again. Ariel is hesitant about it, but she took the knife, hid it and pulled the price to a less crowded area of the ship. She took out the knife, stabbed him, and let his blood trip on her feet. After that she jump into the ocean and turned back into a mermaid, but when her sisters saw her, they were shocked. Instead of a beautiful little mermaid, Ariel turned into a corrupted version of her former self. What the sisters didn’t know is that the magic in the knife was dark magic, and because Ariel killed the prince with it, it cursed her and changed her into something else. While the knife turned into a trident and Ariel pointed to the ship with it. Then she lets out a powerful blast, that sinks the ship and everyone on that ship drowned with it. After that day, Ariel began her days as the new, tyrannical queen of the underwater. You don’t have to use it if you don’t want to, but at least I hope you had a good time reading it. And I hope you have a good day!!!
I absolutely love the outcome and how you integrated the original darker story and used a twist ending in the design. Keeping part of the legs visible as an even more morbid edge that I’ve never thought of. You really captured this tortured in between stage of Ariel becoming bitter and vindictive and then ultimately evil. And the injuries on the feet was a good touch, to further represent the pain she went through. You really told a story with this design.
Snuggled up in bed and enjoying this video - I always fall asleep while watching your videos because you have a pleasant voice ♥️ greetings from Germany! P.S. I‘d love to see a Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp in Alice in Wonderland) repaint video😍

She looks awesome! Great idea with the fins on the tail, that looks so good and realistic! Can't wait to see more twisted Disney characters! I also love the new pastel pans, so much more vibrant colors, they seemed like they worked so much better for coverage.
This was beautiful, just beautiful. I love how you captured the little details of her feet from the Hans original story but still kept a fairly good description to the Disney. I thought it was amazing, just amazing. I was very pleased with this video. Also, my contributions to the possibilities of another twisted Disney makeover are Vilian Belle, Vilian Aurora, and Vilian Rapunzel. I know my three choices may have already been stated and/or done but I just wanted to add to the contributions to feel like I'm useful and at least trying to given inspiration, lol so anyway, this was amazing, I really loved how you did the feet, it was really my favorite part not because painful feet are good but because it works with the story you were telling whilst still keeping some resemblance to the original Hans story and the Disney version as well. I believe that she would want everyone to see what she went through for the Prince that he rejected. She went through all of that pain for him and he rejected her, so I feel like she would want the reminder not just for herself but for everyone to see.
I love the original Little Mermaid, I had the book many years ago. The story was dark, but still beautiful. Hans Christian had an amazing talent in his storytelling and I love any remake of his stories that show the darker side as he told them. This is awesome. 😁
Loving the evil twist. This is beautiful!! I would like to see an evil Alice maybe with some rabbit features and playing croquet with the queen of hearts head...
She's so amazing, when you do a twisted belle, can you make her like she's a beast please I would love that, and I love your channel it helps me alot when I did my own doll customs, I thank you alot 😍
Her face is absolutey stunning!! Those pastels made me actually say "wow" out loud. Great find! The only thing I didn't like was all the chains around her tail. I think the skull and chain around her waist would have been enough. The legs showing through the tail was so freaking epic!
I am SO happy to hear you are working with and watching Hextian and Dollightful. They are my other two favorite doll-related channels. And this video is what I need right now. THANK YOU Marina.
My version of the little mermaid that I heard first was that she fell in love with the prince but felt betrayed when he married another woman so as revenge she became human by consuming his soul and walked the earth the rest of her days
I also have grown up in Russia with the dark Ariel story, and it is so sad compared to the easy going Disney version 😭 As a kid I did not want anyone to read this story to me, because I just could not handle the ending😂

Omg guys! I've just realized the Hextian's shadow siluette of the finished doll has somehow disappeared after rendering(((((( I hope you will forgive this mistake because trying to fix the mistake and then rendering the video again and then reuploading it will take at least 3-4 hours... Damn... How could it happened, I thought I've checked it all....
Do not worry. This will be an opportunity to watch your video twice.
it's all okay 💙
*HI LOVE U*
I don’t understand what is the problem 😂😂😅
No worries, Darlin'! Such a minor thing! ❤
Mariana trying not to get demonetized: the crack on her back. Lol
Funny coincidence, just as i read your comment while watching, she said it.
I'm going to say crack on the back from now on 🤣
Crack on the back just makes me envision mah boi Bakubro stomping on someone's back a ton of times until it breaks.
Please help, I've spent too much time in quarantine TwT
I read this comment before I got to the part and I love it 😂
I think her name is maryna?
But yea, i was laughing at that too...!
6:42 "it might happen to women who are rejected"
ah yes, I, too, created my own tail out of mud when I was rejected. Sits in my room to this day.
Possible twisted princess ideas:
- Aurora, permanently transfigured by the magic of Maleficent's curse, finds herself able to channel dark powers.
Unfortunately, this plan backfires on her, and she becomes just as corrupt as he was.
wow all these ideas are amazing I think thell give me nightmares
You've got quite a few ideas there and I actually like them a lot! Thank you for writing this long comment, it was so much fun reading it. :D
that’s a bit fucking rude. guess you’re just a pussy
How did you come up with this
I love all of this!!!
If you think I'm going to sit here and watch 78 minutes of Hex and Poppen collaborating on a little mermaid repaint you're absolutely right
I just did. Worth it.
Cinderella’s step sisters cut off their own toes and part of their heel to fit into the shoe in the Brothers Grimm version.
Perhaps a body-horror heavy Cinderella could work?
One cut off her toes, the other cut off her heel. The old fairy tales were brutal as heck!
I'd love to see more original fairytale dolls like this!
@@RimFaxxe In the Brothers' Grimm Cinderella, one of the step sisters cut off her toes and the other cut off part of her heel to fit.
It's grim, but it indeed is how it happened.
@@RimFaxxe ...Yes? It did?
pitt(dot)edu/~dash/grimm021(dot)html
"[The first sister] could not get her big toe into it, for the shoe was too small for her. Then her mother gave her a knife and [...] [t]he girl cut off her toe."
"[The second sister] went into her bedroom, and got her toes into the shoe all right, but her heel was too large. [...] The girl cut a piece off her heel."
The sisters marring themselves is what gave them away to the prince--their blood was in the shoe.
And don't forget the birds pecked out their eyes 😂
When you started drawing eyes blue and all the colors pops out I was stunned - those new pastels are spectacular! Please make some fallen angel doll! :D
Or a demon of light
Call me immature but I was laughing so hard when you said “now let me fill this crack on her back” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It rhymes too “Crack on the back”
Me too hahaga
Same here
Same!
Why are you one of the most wholesome and delightful people on TH-cam?
I just realised she forgot to say like the video so imma do it for her
Hey guys and galls and everything in between and more, please make sure to like her videos, she works so hard for us to learn and just enjoy her videos
I accualy love the czech version aaaaway more than the disney movie its way closer to the original story from h.c. Anderson, it hits me every time right in the feels when she walks on the beach and her feet bleed with everystep
I would love to see you make Yzma from The Emperors New Groove! She's such a loveable villain. Maybe you could even give her a llama skin headdress?
The fact that you included the razor blade cuts on the feet..... muah... chef's kiss. You are my idol
You should do a Phineas or Ferb doll, I'm curious to see how you'd tackle their oddly shaped heads lol.
MaYa XD Phineas and Ferb is the best.
22:57 “and I’m going to add some texture with the glue gun”
😏This really is a collab with Hextian😏
Lmao
Notifications: Evil Ariel doll repaint
Me: Oh yeah
Also notification: Ursula doll repaint
Me: ....Dollaboration???
Both Poppen amd Hextian: We collaborating
Me: Y.A.S.!.
Excellent - "Dollaboration" is what it should be called from now on.
I can't understand this, but I'm sure it was lovely
Акцент её дико выдаёт прям😬
Но говорит вполне хорошо
8:00 is when the doll making starts
Lol Thanks for the help =•w•=
I LOVE, that her feet are literally done under the scale & that you did this detail, even if one does not see it.
It's amazing & so important!! 🙏💕
But at least he cared for her and took her on journeys
ty for the extra info
This is such a great concept. Really looking forward to seeing more dolls like this with a twist.
This doll gives off an "Enchantress" vibe, the villain from DC's Suicide squad. I hope you can make a doll like her. I bet you're gonna do an awesome job at it. By the way, this doll is SO BOMB. I love how you made it so fierce!
akamerukawaii made an enchantress doll if you want to see a repaint of her. i'm so glad you also noticed the similarities though, i recommend the video though ;)
Mikaela Santiago Yes!! Enchantress is my all time favourite “villain”...I’m not sure what else you would call her. She is so beautiful and mysterious and the power she possesses is amazing. I just love her. And I adore this “Evil Ariel” doll as well... such talent!
@@danielleoatway7717 i love her too. She's so powerful!! A doll made after her would be awesome. Like, idk, a normal beautiful doll that can transform as an enchantress. I think its gonna be a challenge for Ms. Poppen but I think she can be abke to handle it
@@tinseltina thanks for the recommendation! I would love to watch it!
OMG I LOVE HER! She's so creepy-beautiful. Leaving her eyes without irises and pupils was the perfect choice. Love the tail, love how you somehow came up with the idea of making her legs partially visible...truly, truly amazing job!
Clicked on this after watching Hextian’s Ursula video and all I can say is WOW! 🤯🤯🤯 Gorgeous work! Love your attention to detail and your connection to the original story! Well done!
Tiana the Voodoo Queen with friends on the other side
As someone of Louisiana Creole descent I can't give this enough thumbs up
I love this I hope she does it
I have my red wine, I'm in my comfy pyjamas, so lay that Meester Soopercleer on me Marina! x
Honestly, for twisted disney I would love to see something like a "Beasthunter Belle" doll
Or even Belle falling under the Beast’s Curse too, instead of saving him from it.
I LOVE the idea that she creates her own tail out of all the mud and dead fish, etc. This story is awesome!!
This doll is gorgeous! I love the way you made the legs and tail merge as if she has not quite one or the other. Her eyes look very atmospheric and the scales came out really well. Watching the warbler melt onto the throne was extremely satisfying.
What if Merida was slowly turning into a bear from the spell instead of her mom?
Yes! I was just about to comment this! A werebear Merida would be so cool
I'm genuinely liking this but I've watched too many creepy videos for a day.
I want to add, the Ariel in Andersen's story, everytime she walked it felt like knives stabbing her feet. Also, the doll turned out so cool!
Poppen, literally the sweetest and purest creative person on youtube: now I'm going to take pure acetone and remove her face xD gets me every time.
Can u guys actually appreciate the fact that she is liking everyone's comments?!
But not urs
Star Tetrahedron :P
Hi! I've been marathoning your videos with my friends. Your artistry and artist's personality really resonate with me. You put so much care into detail and artistry that it's a joy to watch you go through the creative process, all ups and downs. Reminds me of my life as a musician. For an idea, how about a pair of traditional Korean bride and groom dolls with the Korean marriage ducks as accessories. Costuming could include your mom's fantastic talents!
This is such a beautiful doll! I love this idea and would love to see more from this series.
Possibly a Belle doll with Beast like features or Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) turning into Maleficent.
Thank you very much for your wonderful doll creations! I never miss a video. Every week Friday.
Stay safe 🤗 🌹
HeXian: almost always paints the backs of the shoes red
Poppen in this collab: paints the backs of Ariel's feet red...
Becca Allen she’s so classy her actual feet are Louboutin
@@kameablaine3167 Louis Vuitton?
Greta Malva i don’t think so, I looked it up to make sure I spelled it right and it said “Louboutin”
@@kameablaine3167 oh my bad😅
Becca Allen in the story every step she took felt like stepping on knives. The red is her feet bleeding not fashion.
( I’m gonna use Andersen’s version, and I’m gonna call the little mermaid Ariel because It’s more gonna be more simple.)
So when the Ariel got to participate the price’s wedding, she hated every single minutes of it.
That's a great plot twist. 10/10 would read the whole story.
Flaming Fox thank you!!! 🥰
Imma just say it: I love her accent it’s really nice to listen to
I absolutely love the outcome and how you integrated the original darker story and used a twist ending in the design.
Lou I knew i wasn’t the only one, her voice is s o amazing i always fall asleep no matter where i am
I would love if you did HOWL ....from Studio Ghibli’s Howl’s Moving Castle...... beautiful, elegant, magical Howl ❤️.......or what about Captain Jack Sparrow? I can just imagine the dreadlocks and all his wonderful accessories.
We need this. Jack Sparrow in all his pirate glory.
Yaaaaaas howl!
I AM A WOLF! HOOOWL
I am not a wolf. I just wanted to make a pun. It's a reeaally bad one
im suprised someone other than me and my sister acctually knew studio ghibli...hex should do a no face from spirited away!
Aw I love Howl!
No worries Poppen, you did a fantastic job on the evil Ariel, love it! And Hextian's doll was beautiful too. Take care and Happy Crafting!
So many creative techniques I wouldn't have thought of!
I love this theme and the fact that you added in parts of the original story! I'm dying to see what else you come up with!
This is INCREDIBLE!!!!!! This is the best Ariel I’ve seen!!! Someone should make a story from your creation, with Ariel looking exactly like this!
oooh I LOVE this! i love how her dark element suits the story but she is still the ariel we can recognize!
i would love to see all the disney princesses go dark!
Well an evil Rapunzel would be interesting since she's one of the nicest Disney character in my opinion!
A combination of rapunzel and a Japanese yokai her hair is like a Mouth
would love to see your take on some mythology like the monsters or cool myths with the nymphs and more than just greek ones
Who else laughed at .... "Crack in the back!" 😂😜✌️
omg yes 😂
I remember seeing all of the pictures of Twisted Disney Princesses at one point. Do Belle next! Awesome video!
Yess! More like these! The ’not so happily ever after’ idea is brilliant. I love the starkids musical twisted for this exact reason.
I love the original Little Mermaid, I had the book many years ago. The story was dark, but still beautiful. Hans Christian had an amazing talent in his storytelling and I love any remake of his stories that show the darker side as he told them. This is awesome. 😁
This has to be my favorite doll that you've ever created!!
Yes, new video! 😍 And a collab with Hextian! ❤
Hi Poppen! Hope you’re having a great day! Stay safe! 😁💖💖
Thank you! You too!💖
Id love an alice/queen of hearts! One of my favorites!
Only the queen of repaints would think of the random details needed! YOU ARE THAT QUEEN!!
the mix of gold and dark green looks really amazing on this one!! thank you for making an evil ariel ♥️
A werewolf princess
When queen Maryna saves ur day in Quarantine
Her face is absolutey stunning!! Those pastels made me actually say "wow" out loud. Great find! The only thing I didn't like was all the chains around her tail. I think the skull and chain around her waist would have been enough. The legs showing through the tail was so freaking epic!
She’s a masterpiece! I love to see how your work only gets better and better with each doll. You’re amazing!
me: OMG HEX UPLOADED A NEW VID SO EXCITED AAA

The hands on the Monster High dolls crack me up. They look like their nails are perpetually drying. 😂
And what's with their weird lordosis backs?
As someone with lordosis I can say it causes lots of trouble so why would they want to create dolls that are always having trouble

I’d love to see the realistic version of Daria or Sailor Moon! It’d be amazing! Your work is fantastic!
I am SO happy to hear you are working with and watching Hextian and Dollightful. They are my other two favorite doll-related channels. And this video is what I need right now. THANK YOU Marina.

What if Cinderella never married the Prince and stayed with her evil stepmother and stepsisters?
Great collaboration video I love the details you added to your twisted Ariel she's horrifyingly beautiful thanks and God bless
My version of the little mermaid that I heard first was that she fell in love with the prince but felt betrayed when he married another woman so as revenge she became human by consuming his soul and walked the earth the rest of her days
oh.. oh my.
I also have grown up in Russia with the dark Ariel story, and it is so sad compared to the easy going Disney version 😭 As a kid I did not want anyone to read this story to me, because I just could not handle the ending😂
and the story about a little girl with a box of matches who died after the last match went off... It was so sad!
most of the kids in Europe would know original andersen stories
@@PoppenAtelier I saw a musical that was a modern retelling of that story. The band was on stage and someone tells the old story (the musical had a happy ending) and after they go to the end, the drummer goes on a rant about how could you tell that story to a child?!!!

HEY LISTEN HERE LADY, IF YOU EVER THINK YOUR ACCENT IS ANNOYING I WILL YELL AT TOU SO LOUDLY THAT ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITE VOICES EVER!
Is it just me how always finds it strange / interesting when a artist uses completely different techniques to what you are used to.
Wow! Very imaginative and pretty cool take on Ariel. She's had a breakdown of some kind and appears deranged and dangerous, poor dear. Love it!
Both of your creations are amazing. I liked how you left her legs visible and your adaption of a new ending to the original story.
Omlll this would make a great series!!! Reminds me of Madeyewlook’s series!!!!!!!

This might be one of my favorite repaints ever. Marina, I was binging some of your older repaints during lockdown, and it's amazing to see how much you've grown and improved. This Ariel is proof of that, if nothing else. I love the concept, using the original fairytale, and how you pulled it all together. Brava!!!!
gorgeous! My favourite disney character, transformed beautifully. So much time and skill. Thank you for the video
This is absolutely insane, I can't even believe how much work goes into it. Beautiful.
