Cant you hold priority when the skyclave Apparition exile trigger goes on the stack, then blink it so their permanent gets exiled, but they dont get a token? I thought because of the templating you cpuld do the ole fiend hunter, sac the fiend hunter trick.

Match 1 turn 3 (5:45), I think the best play would be to play Apparition, target Worthy Knight, and then Ephemerate in response to the trigger. They get no token, you get a second trigger to probably get rid of Knight, their biggest creature is a 2/2 so Embercleave leaves you at 5, and then in your upkeep you can re-Ephemerate to give them a 1/1 and get rid of Inspiring Veteran before deploying Thragtusk.

It was the standard that broke me so I quit MTG for like a decade, lol. Literally like 6 or 7 guys played a variation of that deck at our local game store and I got so bored of it I just quit playing for a long time. I think I still own some Swagtusks from back them myself.

What do you mean by owl deck? A Bird tribal deck? Because in Historic there are just two Birds that are styled as owls (Arcanist's Owl and Owlin Shieldmage).
You had lethal against the elves deck when they scooped. Can't blame you for playing with your food though, I'd want to draw out the most of each game playing this deck as well ;) Just finishing the vid and I must say in the last game dropping off the yasharn to the kroxa seemed really strange to me. If you discard the goose instead you're only losing one damage while getting a play that uses all your mana effectively and gives you a land to pitch when the next kroxa inevitably comes down, instead of having to discard one of your apparitions (one of the better tools for dealing with kroxa)
Hey LVD, An awesome deck idea which I have no clue if you have done or not but SHOULD do anyway, Vorinclex + Song of Freyalise and Nissa, Who Shakes the World. It's awesome in a ramp aggro deck, I use a mono green version with like Llanowar Elves and Paradise Druid, some other creatures like Scavenging Ooze, then like the protected from blue ceratops and questing beast, and finally Vorinclex + Song of Freyalise Song of Freyalise lets you ramp SO much with any creature, and THEN if you get Vorinclex down before the last saga step, you get 2 +1/+1 counters (2 counters cause of vorinclex), vigilance, trample, and indestructible on EVERYTHING, plus if you already have Vorinclex down and play a Song of Freyalise it auto goes to the second saga, so next turn you get the song of freyalise buff mentioned before. It lets you be super aggro cause you don't have to worry about your stuff dying. PLUS, if you have Planeswalkers in the deck like Nissa, Who Shakes the World and you have Vorinclex already down, when you play Nissa, you can ult her on the turn you played her. Vorinclex is also very good against opposing Planeswalkers as they come in with half their total loyalty rounded down, meaning things like Teferi have a hard time :)

I'm guessing you mean Elvish Rejuvinator. Definitely an option to go bigger and include more Llanowar Visionaries or even Elvish Visionaries for card draw and ramp.

@@book-run It definitely was, although shutting down our own Gilded Goose can also come up and I felt like the deck needed extra late game tools.
Is there a way to have a Yorion in the deck? I feel the blinking synergises pretty well and having a 4/5 flyer sounds not too bad.

He has a selesnya magecraft standard deck based around Mavinda, who is an Owl. Maybe that would be up your alley.

you know if you exile skyclave while the entering trigger is on the stack it causes the opponents card to be exiled without creating a token.
I love any deck that plays Biogenic Ooze, so that opponent has my undying love tbh.

It's a starting point. Like I mentioned in the conclusion this is unlikely to be a very competitive archetype.
