This is actually a quadratic formula as here value of x= -b/2a (or half of B if a is 1) +P or x=-b/2a - P and we can say x=-b/2a +- P and here P =+-sqrt( b²/4a² -c ) or sqrt ( b²-4ac/4a²) Now, if we put this P in x, we get x =-b²/2a +- sqrt(b²-4ac/4a) or x = -b² +-sqrt (b²-4ac)/2a . And you know this what ( quadratic formula 😊😊 Edit: ignore strikes
