What i love about this drama is that they only focused on their love and not on lgbt thing. I forgot for a moment that lgbt+ love isn’t normal to the people in our society. This drama shows two souls falling for each other and not two boys in love. Not a single person reminded them that “he is a guy” or “ are you gay?” Or “you choose a guy over a girl” or something like that. Everyone accepted that “he loves him”. I would like to watch more drama like this.
The most important point is like you did for me. He really understands himself, the star can be shameless and would do anything to get what he wants but not him.

However, even in season 1 the actor showed his emotions, he expressed himself. The other guy was more reserved & close as personality, even came out as rude at times. It takes a lot of courage to keep going after someone that rejects you even more so repeatedly. It also hurts one's ego. And most people (& rightly) are too proud and obviously feel embarrassed to go after someone that rejected them. * BTW I have watched season 1 but not season 2.
This scene hits hard ...when you know your temperament and you honestly express to your better half ...this takes a lot of effort and courage...and after that when they hugged each other ..it gave that sweet feeling ... can't explain... One of the best drama with happy ending 😇..
In many ways, this drama was very relatable. I had an experience similar to this. Having someone I loved disappear without a word. It feels like your world is falling apart and you begin chasing after them desperately. At some point, you're tired and want nothing to do with them. But when they came back and stood in front of me, all the love and the happy memories came flooding back into my head. This show really made me feel all those emotions all over again. Such a beautiful drama!
I just love their character development in Season 2 😭😭😭😭 they both have a special place in my heart... I can't even ignore them in Golden Spoon even though they rarely have interactions... 😍😍😍
Apart from this BL being a masterpiece I would like to say that they who portrayed all these feelings were incredible. I simply love these guys. And I sincerely wish for them to get all sort of awesome projects in the future.

I think his character is just not used to being happy. The whole time he was happy and it made him paranoid wondering when it would all go to hell. The happier they were, the more terrified he got. His parents died and his community blamed him for a con artist his parents fell victim to too. In his head it made sense that his happy would only last so long, so the waiting became so suffocating he decided do it himself. A leave them before they leave you mentality. It's not that he didn't love him, he just didn't know how to be loved.
Plus the other guy really took his space like it felt lonely I understand him they love you but you can't help but feel lonely why am I feeling this am I not happy then you become paranoid am I making them happy too insecurities are real and people saying he agreed too fast I don't think so ignore this kind of people will not help they will live in pain and leave you both of you will be hurt at least he got courage
He thought that he isn't enough for the love that's why he pushed himself away from him. But when you realized that he's the person who understands him most and he came back . But the hurtful part was he went way without telling him the reasons why??😭😭😭 This series gave me a roller coaster of emotions.

To My Star is one of best bl, season 2 was a mature show and it depicts the difficulties of love and that with right person by your side. It will all be okay, I love seasons 1 and 2, and Ji Woo and Seo Joon are the best characters 💜

I cried buckets of tears during this drama. It was torture having to wait a week for new episodes. Even though many more dramas came that I loved with all my heart, this BL will remain my all time favorite ❤
It hurt so much to see how desesparate the other guys is. His lover left him without any explanation, hide for a year, and when he found him, he humiliated him so many times. Yet, he forgive him after just a few days bc he cannot live without him. He deserve someone so much better than a men who's ready to give up on him so fast. Love this drama thoo
I wholeheartedly agree with this comment. As much as I love these two together it hurt so much to watch as he kept getting rejected by the guy whom left him. It’s so sad how much he truly loved him I wish that he didn’t take him back that easily because he definitely needed to work to be forgiven. Ans he has the audacity to say if u keep rejecting me I can’t keep chasing you. I felt like they should have broken up and he should have found somebody who would actually live and care for him. Overall I loved the show tho it definitely one of my top favourites.
I felt the same throughout and especially in this moment. However, it was precisely in this moment, the look on Seo Joon's face (the actor), that conveys he is the stronger, more emotionally mature partner. And Ji Woo (Chef) has acknowledged this, which is why I think he feels something is different. There was another scene that hinted that Ji Woo knew Seo Joon was emotionally stronger when Ji Woo was trying to figure out what to do & talking with his friend. He said how good Seo Joon is at knowing & relating to others feeling & that SJ already understands all of that, unlike him. Anyway, I was holding my breath in this scene. It could've gone either way & I don't think even SJ knew how he was going to choose. Seo Joon had already resolved that he was done with Ji Woo, and who could fault him. He tried so hard & kept pursuing. And Ji Woo was just awful to him. Until Ji Woo walked over to him, I think he was pretty cold. That was a bold move.
It's as though I typed this message myself. I couldn't believe how a person could put his loved one through so much hurt and suffering, just to return after what felt like forever, and on top of that to ask that the other person take them back quickly and easily. Never before have I felt such a desperate need star in a drama myself, so that I could grab Ji Woo by the collar and tell him to get his act together 😭
I agree with you a 100% even if I really like both of them. One was just stupidly desperate in love and the other was just being plain stupid nothing else. In real life I would have said he deserves so much better to knock some sense into the other's head and make him realize what he has lost and the next time he enters a relationship with someone he will make sure to communicate clearly before doing something stupid. He is lucky his partner was patient enough to keep up with his stupidity. Still I'm glad it ended well.
