barbers with OCD are always the best! nice and close against the grain shave. barber had some nice skin stretching techniques. he walked out of there looking and feeling like a new man. 17:10 i bet that hair wash felt so good!
The shampoo and ear cleaning in my opinion seem to be the best most relaxing part also love the GOLDFISH and sounds even cars passing or occasional street sounds!!

I would certainly like to find myself in a position to accept such a gracious offer. I just don't know when it will be, it looks like I'm going to have to save my pennies like Simon does if there is any chance of it happening in the next year or two. 41:35 Woah! He really did do a very good job! There was a few bits I didn't get, such as the ear trimming (?) and tapping and why he effectively shaved your forehead!? 42mins of excellent customer service :)
God you get the full Monty really good service. When I go to barber shop I get no welcome or anything like that. Just awkward moments of eye contact in the mirror. The hair cut I get is not even that good and for the shave he doesn't even use shave cream or any after cream. And yet my barber still has the check to charge me what he feels like. I need this barber for sure

My guy here locally has a very similar routine, but he uses hot towels a bit more and a little massage at the end... whole process takes about 70 minutes, which is a chunk of time, but so nice and relaxing if you can afford the time... and the 3200yen price... not cheap.
There are cheaper guys, but they also do it quickly. This barber charges, I believe, 3,600yen. But it's worth it! BTW, you should film yourself next time!
I always wondered how barbers can wipe the edge of the razor off on their hand without cutting themselves by accident - it looks like this poor guy got himself, judging by that bandage! Great video, love seeing this type of stuff.
This barber is a real pro. You should see the cloven hooved sods that used to cut my hair. This guy makes them all look like amateurs. So I shave it all off and I don't have to deal with it any more.
Victor, you should post a side-by-side before/after picture as your profile pic. It's a stark difference. Amazing what a haircut and moustache trim can do for a man. You almost look respectable now! ;-)

What is the purpose of the little tap he gives your ears at the end of the cleaning? The barber did the same in the previous video. Perhaps it helps with any itching?
I've always thought the audio was fine on your videos. Not a 100% sold on the new mic arrangement, maybe just a clip for that would work. Either way another great haircut video. I love it.

I know it's been said a couple hundred times by now, but...damn it, this is incredibly addicting. I've watched it a couple of times now and I sometimes have it play as background noise when I'm at the office. It's just relaxing to watch and listen to. It doesn't lull me to sleep, but it's a good way to simmer tensions. Your cameraman needed a few pointers at first, but once he got it figured out and he got into the rhythm of things, he made it even more absorbing an experience than it already was.
