Saying that: character swap system, elemental system, anime design and lore "a few changes" is stupid, lmao The problem is that when Genshin was launched, many of its mechanics were not from Breath of the Wild but were unique to Genshin. Various exploration features like the Seelies and even the character swapping, the reaction system with multiple elements, the anime-focused story, the presentation, and the storyline format, were all very different. In the case of WuWa, everything is very similar to Genshin, whereas Genshin was inspired, WuWa copied. There's a stark difference here. Does Breath of the Wild have anime graphics? Is the story based on this genre? Does it have gameplay with character swapping? Elements? Do you understand the difference now? It's hypocritical to say Genshin copied; Genshin was inspired.
The only problem I had with genshin was rewards, now the problems are switching characters depends on your internet speed, traveling long distances is difficult cause sprinting uses stamina, and rewards.

WW is genshin with more engaging combat and actual endgame It's a common occurrence. Genshin is inspired by BOTW, but 75% of Genshin is original; only 25% has inspiration. Look at WuWa. WuWa has elements similar to Genshin: the UI is a copy, it has character swapping, characters have different elements, it features an anime story, and it's a gacha game. The first story in WuWa is exactly like Genshin's: a dragon appears, becomes "bad," and we have to clean up the mess. Even the Fatui are copied.
