FC i ordered this mold about an hour after you posted and they were in the mail this morning, these things look great! and the pins fit really good, they go together like bacon and eggs!! thanks for posting, i probably would have missed out with out the tip, thanks a million FC!
You know,,, I never thought these would take off as they have. However, Proof is in the pudding and accuracy is paramount with any other slug you can get out there. as you know James and I have been working together to stock these slug molds and wads. we are expanding the inventory offering more tools and pin assortment so that the caster can choose what they want to make. we are currently working to get new hull vices that are premium quality over the one offered by BPI, that is something that is going through the cost analysis process as we speak. So, More stuff is on the way and room is being made to expand the storage of these products at The Reloaders Network. It is a back burner thing as of now, However, I have been looking at Home shotmakers just to see if we could offer those too. Dave.
Thor's Axe, the molds were in the mail this morning, fine looking molds, i don't think it will take long to go thru 500 wads though! the machine work is top notch! can't wait to try these out so i can order the other mold, thanks for all the work on getting these shotdog
I have been trying to get an answer to the Super Paradox slug, to no avail. Your video shows the longer skirt at the bottom of the paradox slug (the 4th one (not Powder coated) in the first close up and the last one on the right (powder coated) later on.) That is the one I wanted and ordered but on arrival I got the short bottom driving band! My standard center pin also has the shorter driving band. How do I go about getting the center pin with the longer bottom skirt for use with the proprietary wads??? (No answer from The Reloaders Network!)
Thanks for all your very informative videos. being looking for a mold that can compete with Brenecke for years. Can you tell me how the paradox compares with hydrant in a smooth bore shotgun. Need it for a camp gun - where dangerous game can be a problem - or possibly following up leopard. Need good accuracy to 25 m - not interested in much further. Have 375 for that. Cheers
I just watched the video on the 800gr slug that TEOFLEDERMAUS tested. Very impressive. Do you know if they fit OK in a standard 2-3/4" hull with a roll crimp? Thank you sir. You have an awesome channel with great information.
Sir, do you know anyone that has used the Russian Segmented Slug Mold? That's the one that breaks into 4 pieces on impact and uses a screw to hold the wad. I'm worried that getting the mold to fill correctly could be a problem and I'm looking for someone with experience with this mold.
Used to enjoy your videos up to several months ago when you went commercial. The videos had a lot of interesting and useful how-to do things. Now they are one continuing commercial. I have un-subscribed. Sad to do so, but I don't find your videos interesting or useful to me any longer.
man there is nothin better than unwinding to a new FortuneCookie45LC video after a long day

Ooooo! If there could be a home shotmaker for under hundred bucks even if it was an attachment to a Lee pot I would be thrilled
