I got CSR 25 yrs ago. My medical plan made me wait 2 weeks to see the eye doctor. I didn't know it was that serious. I saw the optometrist , ophthalmologist and retina specialist all in one day. The retinal specialist lied to me. I saw him for a year. On the last visit. He told me I had a hole in my eye that scarred over. I had hope for a whole year that there would be some improvement. I just live with it. I was under a lot of stress at the time it happened.

Hi good question. The answer is there are multiple ways. For example CSR tends to be in younger people whereas macular degeneration is primarily in elderly patients. You can tell from looking into the back of the eye. You can tell from scans. Many ways. Hope this helps.

Sir my self Ratiranjan Jena and i have this problem in my right eye from the day one of jan 2021 I went to one highly knowing doctor and he scan my eyes and told me that there are some amount of fluid in the back side of retina and prescribed me eye drop and tablets,but after two months i felt a little better but the colour of any object is not clear to my right eys so he suggested me to stop the drop and continue the tablet,I continued for almost 3 months but I didn't felt well so I went to another well known doctor,and she checked my eyes and prescribed me another drop and also medicine, and also told me that if it's not going to be ok then I need a laser treatment to cure,l continued it for two months and I completely cured but when i stop the medicine from last 6/8 days today I am facing the same blurred vision and a black spot , Sir I am seriously very much afraid to laser operation,so kindly suggest me what to do 🙏

सर प्रणाम सर मेरी एक आँख 22 वर्ष पहले पटाखे की चोट से weak घे गई थी जिसकी विजन 3/60 है। तया दूसरी आँख मे पिछले वर्ष जुलाई 2020 से CSR की समस्या हो गई । जयपुर मे दिखाया था। कुछ खाने की एव डालने की दवा देने पर ठिक हो गया । फिर 7 दिसम्बर 2020 को दुबारा समस्या हो गई फिर दवाई लेने से फरवरी में ठीक हो गया । कोई इलाज बताये जिसमे दुबारा न हो ( कोई परहेज हो या कोई दवा ।
I was diagnosed with CSR 3 hours ago. My doctor said there are cases wherein it just goes away on its own, but some require laser treatment. He said the cause of CSR is unknown but stress is a great factor.

But there is also chronic CSR...

Is it curable?
It can be treated successfully. But in some patients it can come back. In other patients it stays chronic.

Austin 5 injection has taken but my vision is not good

सर प्रणाम सर मेरी एक आँख 22 वर्ष पहले पटाखे की चोट से weak घे गई थी जिसकी विजन 3/60 है। तया दूसरी आँख मे पिछले वर्ष जुलाई 2020 से CSR की समस्या हो गई । जयपुर मे दिखाया था। कुछ खाने की एव डालने की दवा देने पर ठिक हो गया । फिर 7 दिसम्बर 2020 को दुबारा समस्या हो गई फिर दवाई लेने से फरवरी में ठीक हो गया । कोई इलाज बताये जिसमे दुबारा न हो ( कोई परहेज हो या कोई दवा ।

I was diagnosed with CSR 3 hours ago. My doctor said there are cases wherein it just goes away on its own, but some require laser treatment.
He said the cause of CSR is unknown but stress is a great factor.

@@dreyeforyou I was injected with Avastin because the vein in my right eye bled. My doctor said it's CNV.
