this scene shows how much Hugh Laurie is a great actor and scenario revealed it the best it can. he did showed a face with a mix of "ah she's doing good, not a puppy anymore" and "i know it" and "this is my padawan" and amused too.
Laurie went to Eton, then studied at Cambridge university ( I think he studied Architecture) then won a scholarship to Oxford University where he studied English Literature.. I think it was Oxford where Laurie joined up with Steven Fry and Emma Thompson.. He was part of Blackadder which I am pretty sure he was involved in the writing as well acting .. Hugh was involved in a lot of comedy, both acting and writing in the UK.. His comedy always had an edge of Irony and sarcasm. I got many of these details from Google but remembered others from watching his acting career and interviews living in England.
It is a testament to how great Hugh is at doing an accent that isn't his own when he can change the voice, taunt, be sarcastic, over dramatic, etc and not break the accent.
i don't know but of all the episodes of the entire seasons, this is my favorite scene. Just House genuinely proud of Masters even if he sounds so sarcastic(most of the time, tbh). additionally how Chase is just smiling as if her sister is Masters. HAHAHAH
