It’s extremely admirable that you draw on that generation of iPad. I see so many people stressing on getting an iPad for drawing because of the price but some should look for a generation of iPad they can afford. They all can handle procreate very well. Doesn’t have to be the newest of the iPads. It’s not good tone in debt if one can’t afford it over drawing on an iPad. You show that it’s more than capable of your needs for drawing.

Hiii, I've had the 2019 iPad Air for 5 years now and recently switched to the new 2024 one as I needed a bigger screen. The 2019 model is still thriving, my bf uses it for notes and it runs smoothly, but the 2024 model is fantastic for drawing! If you mostly use your iPad for art, and nothing like hardcore movie making that need super high capacity and strength, you absolutely do nootttttt need pro! Airs are much more affordable, and have almost the same power! :) And now they have the 13 inch version which is an absolute win for me :D So highly recommend that one

Hey! I started following you recently and I adore your soft painterly style
Ipad air (4th gen) + pencil owner here, honestly no complaints, it was my best affordable option for procreate usage and other light work, the one down side with the cheapest option is that the storage might be small if you do a lot high quality (image quality/resolution) work, i would suggest trying it out in person before jumping the gun though as i believe its a little bit more cumbersome that the older ipads due to its design, definitely keeps up with the current needs though and its half the price of a pro 💀

If you’re having trouble with this iPad, look into getting a refurbished or open box pro one.. I got my 4th gen iPad Pro 11 128gb for around 450-500. There are options tbh. Look around. I had the same as you previously:)

when i saw ur drawing i wanted to draw but my skills at drawing stopped me cuz i'm bad at drawing... 😔😔
practice makes always improvement ♡ just keep going!
Also remember that it takes time so don't feel bad if you don't see immediate progress
We all start off like that u just have to keep going! U see people drawing and you're jealous of how effortlessly they can do it but they've most likely have been doing it for years and have lots of practice. U should only compare your art to your art (to see progress) not your art to other people's art. :)
