I am old but not to old to learn and that did seem fairly easy... I think that the wiring in new wires and not making a mess of that is the key to success. I seen a older cadillac that had the digital dash and they were nice when working but those rigs were blessed with a lot of other problems that made them not so nice or a mechanic's nightmare.

@@MarcandThings I just wanted to let the crew at donut know I appreciate them :( F
I really like these in-depth, hands-on videos. I look forward to all Money Pit episodes because of that. Zack honestly is my favorite Donut host.
This deep cuts. I’m glad you guys show how difficult these jobs can be. It’s simple on paper, but difficult an tricky to execute. Turned out awesome🍻
Loved this episode. 5V sensors now make sense - and that's so useful. Next, can you and Jerry teach us how to intuitively use a multimeter?
“Always heat up your joint”
Don’t worry Zach, my joint’s always hot
This is the type of content I live for and what the money pit Miata should be centered around, dyi upgrades and repairs
Diggin the music selection in this episode 10/10
He sure has gone a long way from changing out the steering wheel.
Great job ! Funny I have just finished a new wiring for a new set of tailights for my Audi. Even so many kilometres away I used nearly identical tools, quick connectors and measuring techniques as Zack.

Wiring is scary, but all of this info really makes it a lot less overwhelming!
Out of all the donut ads the zebra ones are some of my favorites
My favourite are the rock and morty themed ones
I was checking the playlist earlier to see if I missed any videos and saw a privated one and got all excited
Now that I see the title? Still excited :) early gang let’s go!
Great vid. Learning resistance on fuel and oil pressure sensors gives insight on how to repair those tricky dudes. Also wiring into an aftermarket ecu seems daunting to me but Jobe on point with that helpful info. Thanks guys!
I could literally watch Zach do anything and be locked into my seat. Don't know how or why but I love it
he's very knowledgeable and entertaining for sure!
When your aftermarket ECU is just an arduino uno w/ a body kit
Love the video. It also showed me, there’s no way I’d want to put in an electronic dash. The need for tech support would break me. (And I’m sure the way I do things I’d hit a bump, something would go out and I’ll never find that gremlin). Great video though. Money pit is awesome.
That ZEBRA ad... f*cking amazing!!!!!
Cheers from Brazil!
"Doing donuts are easy" I mean yeah the already have a pre cut hole.
i never in my life replay the add before, these guys creativity is off the charts...
I've been dealing with those damn magic pixies lately too, every time I look at wiring I think "oh great, you again" but it's really not so bad most of the time.
hahaha what?
@@MarcandThings electrocity my friend, magic pixies from yonder wall socket

I truly enjoy watching money pit. It's like watching automotive Bob Ross. Entertaining, informative and wholesome.
Its important to heat up your joint. Never have more true words ever been spoken. 🤣❤️💪🏽🔥💯
Their ads are so good that I don't even skip them anymore 🤣
I skipped the ad at first, then read comments and decided to give it a watch. It was worth it. Well done!
looking good! although i will say the lag in the gauge would still drive me crazy. id probably get something with more ram, or something that would make it smooth
As a student in engineering, im glad that i’m able to understand the things he is saying hahaha
thought about going in the automotive side but I chose electrical engineering so high five
I'm doing CS but enough Electrical Engineering classes to follow all of it too lol
they're not even that deep. It's just "resistor here", "polymeter there", that's hobby engineering level of education which is great for youtube content.
how i feel about medical videos
You have the charm and personality for these videos. I thoroughly enjoy your explanation videos! Thank you and please continue to make them!
I said it before and I'll say it again: industry's finest ad segments
It was such a relief to see the dash cover put back on, holy shit. 😂
I know very little beyond the basics about the inner workings of cars (I would like to learn more but there's a lot to learn), but I really enjoyed watching this.
I wonder if the money pit Miata has ever actually made it to an oil change. It seems like just about every week Zach is draining the oil for a different project 😂
always fresh oil, but it's probably only like 2 quarts in that car lol
Zach every day at Donut: "Can we do some more Zebra ads?"
I love it when yall add the line to the sponsor, It just made me watch the whole video even when I was planning to go to bed

1:52 my new backgeound idc what anyone says its too perfect
17:12 be sure to put on eye protection because I got to a automotive school and my instructor told me to put eye protection on and I didnt listen and the smoke from soldering wire got into my eye and I had redness in my eye for 2 days, just saying it from an experience
That lag is killin me even after being fixed.
“Something always tend to come up”
*me as I’m trying to get my test pipe off that’s welded itself to my header*
YOU DONT SAY?!
lol rip. did a muffler shop do that? I got a muffler delete on my 370z and all they did was cut off the muffler and weld on new pipes instead. Which is fine but now it means to put the muffler back on I have to cut those pipes and weld the muffler back on. I honestly should have just spent twice as much and bought my own bolt on pipes to do it myself. But if you're on a budget and don't ever plan on going back, eh, whatever I guess.
@@Voltaic314 nope, just cheap ass metal with these american racing headers

*looking at the absolute spaghetti monster that is my cars wiring *
me: why do I hate myself
lmao what does the fox say?
Yeah, when it comes to wiring, I'll just throw money at somebody else to do it.
I sometimes cut all my wires and re-run them out of boredom and also to see if I can use slightly less wire than the time before. And because GMs need rewired every 2 weeks or they catch on fire, this is fact
