- The best player in Geometry Dash History wasn't who we thought he was. Let me tell you the story.
I wanted to give this moment in Geometry Dash History the attention to detail it deserves. I wanted to explain all the emotions and context involved. I wanted to tell the story of the players who got robbed.

💥Q: Why are we back to the 2d fox instead of the 3d fox?
A: The 3d fox is currently in the process of being re-worked to improve mechanics and style. See this video series as buffer content until I can go back to making 3d fox videos!
💥Q: Why did you decide to cover this topic when so many others already have?
A: I started working on this video in April just like everyone else. It just so happens that I take way longer since I value quality over quantity so much. It was important to me to tell this story from the angle of other players that were involved. I wanted to include all emotions, reactions and context I could find so that future generations of players have the best video about this topic I can physically make. I hope that this is enough to set my videos apart from the others. (I can't believe I was able to make this in 4 months that's so fast for me)
💥Q: Why did you decide to make this a 2 part series instead of 1 long video?
A: 2 Reasons. #1: I always wanted to play around with cliffhangers!!!! It was just as much fun to make as I thought it would be! #2: I am currently experimenting with how I want to do TH-cam going forward. Since I value Quality over Quantity so much I usually only get to upload once a year... which is REALLY bad because TH-cam "punishes" that as inactivity. By telling this story in 2 parts it might help me trick TH-cam in to thinking I upload more + it might trick you guys into thinking I upload more than I do too. xdd
💥Q: Why are there less jokes this time? Did you give up on being funny?
A: First of all, I gave up on being funny years ago but that won't stop me from trying xd. However, this video deals with a more serious topic where I really wanted all the things mentioned to have their room to breath. I just didn't feel like this was the right type of video to be wacky and funny in. I still hope that all the eastereggs and void scenes make up for it. (Next videos will definitely be way less serious)

Yeah, the parts system works well on TH-cam I think. If you split it too much, it can get kinda annoying, but 1-3 parts is usually great in my opinion. Some of the Scott the Woz stuff where he uploads all parts as one video after seems redundant at first, but TH-cam loves it and I personally enjoy rewatching all parts in context, especially with how Scott has running storylines, lore, and gags in all parts that come together flawlessly.

The fact that zoink, who isn’t a hacker was going toe to toe with spaceuk, a hacker, is actually mad

Crazy how history repeats itself, with riot and cyclic back in 1.9
It wasn't just toe to toe. He outright beat him. Spaceuk at the time from what I've seen was seen as trashtalking god who downplayed the difficulty of other levels and always backed up his words with "my attempt count is lower so I'm better". Zoink came into the game and ended up beating the entire top 75 and beat many levels in an even lower attempt count. Now that hes close to verifying Tidal Wave he'll soon have verified all top 3 levels which is an achievement that Spaceuk hasn't done. It's ridiculous. A hacker only makes an attempt count number and time spent based on what he thinks is humanly possible. The fact that zoink beat those numbers is astounding.
zoinks a hacker, jk but that would be funny if he was because he got pretty nervous about 2.2 not having the megahack-
Cant wait to watch this video 7 times over and notice more insane details in the editing each time

Whats really sad about Space is that he actually had HUGE potential. Every up until the 96% on the Golden was legit, he could have been a top 10, possibly a top 5 player for a while. Its a shame he wasted it all

Honestly hard to believe you don't have more recognition. Whenever i scroll on youtube and I see an amazing thumbnail followed by Samifying at the bottom, I just get so happy. I make my food get comfy and get ready to just watch a cinematic masterpiece. The amount of detail you put into these videos makes them so captivating and easy to understand. The visuals are phenomenal and the story telling is just beautiful.

It's kinda funny how obviously fake his 'reactions' were in hindsight, but back then we just mostly thought it was him trying to be calm or humble upon finishing the level, or that he didn't think the level was too big of a challenge to freak out over anyways.

This whole situation was crazy. What you said about newer players looking up to him is completely true. I just started seriously playing GD trying to improve and SpaceUK was my testimony to how good I could maybe one day get, even though that would take me years if not decades. Finding out he was cheating was a huge punch in the gut and honestly killed some of the excitement I had for this game. I still plan on playing but right now I've put a pin in that.
As for me if I can get past Clubstep that might as well be the last thing I'll do in the game lol
