Imagine a show every having a theme this great ever again? They don’t even care to have credits.
Blame greedy TV networks. They continually cut everything down to make more space for commercials. Back in the Sixties if a TV show was in a 60 minute slot you would get about 50 minutes of the show and 10 minutes of commercials. Nowadays that same 60 minute slot you will get 38 minutes of show and 22 minutes of commercials.
never
I fell in love with Heather Thomas. They didn’t show enough of her.
Watched every episode with my Pop as a kid. He passed away a few years ago and watching this got me a little choked up but in a good way - good memories.
I loved the theme of this show such it really brings back memories.
My childhood tv series that I have never missed a single episode that time.
Feeling nostalgic !!!!
One of the greatest 📺 show introduction songs!
This was back in the day before green screens and CGI. These guys did it for real.
Listening to this made me cry. I could immediately remember my grandmothers living room. Sitting beside my grandad. Watching this show. He passed in 1993 but I hold this show close to my heart!💯❤️🥹
Nostalgia is a powerful emotion! Because its a combination of overwhelming joy. Mixed with overwhelming sadness! The joy of the memories and people. Coupled with the sadness of knowing they are gone forever.❤

Ahhhhh, my childhood growing up in the 80’s
The 80s had the best theme tunes.
70s were better.
The 80s didn’t have game of thrones, or succession, or Westworld…I’d say 2010s takes that win.
When I was a kid the opening credits were part of the show. I loved this show!
I was born in 79 and loved this show. I remember toys of the era being based on stunts, evil kinieval and a barn themed western set with cars flipping on their side. Great memories
Mannn this is what made the 80's unmatched! One of the best damn theme songs....up there with Night Rider
Latch key kids grew up on shows like this. Our favorite babysitters is Lee Majors and Heather Thomas.
The Fall Guy from the creator of Magnum, P.I. & Knight Rider and from the studio that gave us Daniel Boone, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, M*A*S*H, Trapper John, M.D. and Batman
Starring Famed Actor and abc Legend Lee Majors (The Big Valley & The Six Million Dollar Man), Douglas Barr (The Wizard), 80's Hottie Heather Thomas, Jo Ann Pflug (Hanna-Barbera's The Fantastic Four and Catlow) and the late Markie Post (Card Sharks, Night Court & Hearts Afire)
The show was a Top 30 Hit during the 1st 4 Seasons, but when Markie Post left the show to join the cast of Night Court, plus competition from NBC in The Cosby Show & Family Ties on Thursday Nights and later competing against The Facts of Life on Saturday Nights spelling the end of The Fall Guy
God Bless You Lee Majors, Douglas Barr & Heather Thomas for a job well done, God Bless You Jo An Pflug for your performance as Big Jack and God Bless You Markie Post and Thank You for all the years that you've entertained us

I loved this show when I was a kid. The theme song is perfection.
That was a fun show! I had to find the theme song because it recently jumped into my brain a while back. Then I learned that this movie was made. (Not a TV watcher these days.) I'm an old-school stickler. I enjoyed the original series. Reboots and remakes are usually disappointing to me. They change too much. This is definitely a classic. Reminds me of my youth. Watching this made me want to be a stuntwoman.
Used to watch this with my Dad. Got the dvds now, and it's still great. That Truck, and Jody are to die for
People always look back and say "the good old days", but here in 2023 I listen to that and I realise it really was a better time.
I am glad I grew up in the 80s, other than better technology and access to better stuff, pretty much everything else has gotten worse now!
Tbh I’m tired of all the boomer horseshit comments after every nostalgic TH-cam thing.Enjoy, learn how to adjust & be open minded about things🤷🏽♂️
@@RamsLakersDodgersFirst of all, Boomers were born in the 50s. They didn’t grow up in the 80s. Secondly, you should never confuse shit with Shinola no matter how open-minded you get.
@@Michael-uy5yzI grew up in the 80s but don’t confuse me with all these close minded dumbfucks.I’m embarrassed to see all my generation saying our music was better our movies were better blah blah blah🤦🏽I’m glad I’m not a part of you guys😎
Great TV theme song and great TV show
This was my older brother's show. Jr. loved Lee Majors in Fall Guy. God I remember the song by heart as a 4 year old.
Don't forget greatest American hero and mork n Mindy...
1 OF THE BEST COOLEST SHOW!!!! THANK YOU, VERY VERY MUCH!!!!!!❤😂🫶👍🙏😆
I just watched the movie the fall guy and I really enjoyed it with Emily blunt and Ryan gosling Im glad their remake a lot of the 80 s movies!
Lee Majors sang the theme song didn't he?
Great show and theme.
Yes, he did!
@@ClassicTVMan1981X
And Chuck Norris sang Walker Texas Ranger?
What's funny is on the credits it says Colt Severs.
On the later season, the credit for singing was changed from Colt Seavers to Lee Majors. I wonder if Lee requested this or if there is any story behind it.
@@tommix6733 I just checked one of the credits on TH-cam. November 1981. It says sang by Lee Majors. maybe they changed it to Colt Seavers has a novelty.
Heather Thomas! I can't recall having watched any USA series from the 80s!
Watched the movie, this song is used towards the end. Great experience!
Really enjoyed the film, Great to see Lee Majors and Heather Thomas at the end.
Was fun watching it when it was on the air and still is in 2024 forty two years later.
Hope the movie is much more different from the show. Cannot wait to see the movie.
Seeing that chevy fly thru the air and the general Lee was magical....
I seriously think that more stars should sing their themes, there's a charm to it.
Did you see the minder sung by Dennis Waterman just curious
@@slipperystevens2980 Write the feem toon sing the feem toon
Yep, only Lee could have sang this song and did it justice by tying the song directly to the main character - Colt Seavers.
Movie trailer??....I grew up on this!... Heather Thomas? Awwww Sh*t!
I probably would've loved this show as a kid. But I'd never even heard of it until my dad started off-and-on rewatching it about 2 years ago.
Love this show, the only part of the song I remembered was “hey hey”. Glad the move brought this iconic show back.
One of the best tv shows ever...
I'm afraid of the movie adaptation, I know it will make a tons of money but it can't be the TV series, it can't be that good!
You have to give it a chance my friend!! I thought the same things but by far it's the best movie I have seen in a few years.dont get me wrong it's a nonsense movie that has the love story, has some bang up action, definitely has plenty of comedy and Gossilling played it perfectly, he's not Lee majors but I thought it was great if you wanted to veg out and enjoy a flick and not have to think too much or need to a few times to catch everything. I'll probably see it again this weekend because I think it's that good. Hey it even has a dog in it that only understands French. Pure comedy. I would be stunned if someone that watched the show didn't like the movie
@@chrisf8299 ah, okay, we'll see it this Saturday evening, you convinced me. Thank you!
Watched it it was great
