as someone who has modeled a gundam from 00 in 3d max, I can tell you....it's hard. let alone making it movable in a game. It looks simple, but it's very complex to make and animate character, and then program it to move exactly a certain way. shooterpker, you have nailed it.
As plain as it looks, I have to give Yukes credit for making the melee attacks from enemy to enemy flow together well (part of their wrestling game heritage?).

isn't the Trans-am just the very quick release of all the stored GN particles in the solar reactor, giving the gundam stronger beam weapons, faster movement and near limitless power
I could do with getting into VOTOMS in general, but I really don't have enough time lately to be getting into lots of animes, even if VOTOMS is a must for mech fans. I'll be sure to look into this VOTOMS game though.
@Daisagru Because they own a chunk of Namco. Why they don't ask to build something on the code of a game like Zone of the Enders that's well polished, I honestly have no idea.

@Daisagru It's not like Bandai always drops the ball or anything, though. There have been some really well-made, fun Gundam games within the last couple generations. If we're talking just action games, most of the Gundam vs series (Especially Gundam vs Zeta and Gundam vs Gundam and it's variations), Encounters in Space, and 0081 like you mentioned, were all quite good, and then there are the (mostly) excellent G Generation and Giren's Greed games. But it does look like they dropped the ball here

They should have just used the same game engine as Mobile Suit Gundam Encounters In Space. Gundam games would probably sell better if they had have just stuck to that engine and improved on it.

I agree with Bryanz09, this game looks a bit lame. I mean, I haven't played it but it looks to slow, I personally like something faced pace. Armored Core 4 I think is a better game then this. Its quick, face paced, and you need quick reflexes to beat the bosses.
i like the Gundam 00 tv series but this game is kinda lame for some reason because the battle in this game is only in either air or space and you can mover very freely here. Gundam Seed Destiny sub series and Gundam vs Gundam PS2/PSP games has better gameplay than this one.

Yeah, it's okay. Like I said in the description, I was a bit disappointed with it. Especially after Yuke's VOTOMS game. That was amazing!

The game was pretty good. The only problem is that the engine doesn't allow for ground combat. That could have been something to improve.
