@@WhatVivididnext it's a scary thing to go through....my nerves feel jangled. Apparently a huge tree has come down at my workplace across the driveway.

Quite a few trees have come down here in the west country, we have lost a fence panel and we had a female pheasant sheltering under my camelia this morning, but she has left now bless her! never seen one in our garden before but she found a safe place to tuck away and hide. Wind easing now but still quite strong.
I started watching your live video (too late to chat) and when you mentioned the storm, I figured I'd better watch this first. Wow, what a storm! I hope that wasn't your TV antennae that toppled. It's nice and sunny here, but another big freeze coming next week, hopefully the last before spring. Now, back to the live video. Stay safe and have a nice calming cuppa tea. :) ~ Jon in rural BC, Canada
@@RichardandPaul Ah. Well, when he or she complains of poor reception, you'll be able to explain why. The last big wind here damaged one arm of my front awning, so it sags quite a bit. I'll have to see if I can bodge together a new elbow joint for it before I put new cordage in it. The back awning over the kitchen has lost all it's cord, too. Magpies? ~ Jon
Thank you bloomin thank you for this gusty vlog ❤️ Richard. My daughter was walking in Shoreditch this morning and a big tree had blown down. Stay safe and warm at home lovely lads best wishes from Sheffield ❤️
Yikes. Very frightening in your attic. Wouldn’t want to be in a city high rise! I lived in one in HK for a few years. Had to tape up windows every time a typhoon came through. And bring in the potted bougainvilleas from the balcony.
I was glad to see your video and know that you and Paul are relatively safe. We are going through the same type of weather here in Nova Scotia at the moment, high winds and heavy rain. I’ll be so happy when it’s over. Stay safe.
Nasty here in SW. Tiles ripped off the front and back porch, smashing onto pots of plants below, sides of green house off, glass all over the back garden 😭
Incredible Richard. So scary glad you didn't have and structural damage. I imagine your relieved that tall tree was reduced before this storm hit. Hope its calmer there now.
The same events here in Suffolk…even as the sun shines down! Very frightening weather conditions. I’m so happy that my neighbours cut their monstrous trees down. 😳🌲 Keep safe 👍🏼
I find this all very scary. I live on the south coast and had a couple of power cuts. The local council decided it was necessary to close the public library, their offices and all public toilets!
This is the worst storm I can remember for a long while. The roof is creaking a bit and the fence panels are rattling in their posts. So glad I don’t have to go anywhere but can’t wait for it to pass. Stay safe everyone.
Where you are and others scary weather, they said snow here it edinburgh there wasn’t it had melted during the night, worse in the highlands of Scotland.
hi Richard, has vivi been to check on her shed ? just saw a video by Sean Cameron and i may be mistaken but there appeared to be some roof damage. i hope not but i felt that i should mention it . regrards
I believe that Vivi has been informed. I don't think it will be wise to do any checking today as it is still wildly windy out there and probably unsafe to be out and attempting repairs.
Thank goodness you’re safe.
Wow. I'm glad you're safe.
Oh Richard that is fierce.. be safe please...ours here across the pond has passed. ❣🌹
OK that was impressive. Glad that you are both safe.
Hiya Richard, Thankyou for sharing. We had Thunder Snowstorm! here on Wednesday. Take care & stay safe. Luv Ontario Canada 🐝
Ditto here...never been so scared in this flat!
Oh I know...I'm so on edge. I'm hoping the worst has passed, but those gusts keep coming.
@@RichardandPaul Ugh, exactly!!! My window on the front is creaking and groaning horribly......I wish it would be over already!

Yes we have heard of a couple of trees that have come down. It's still very gusty out there.
Oh my Richard, scary. I am in the East and although it has been rough most of the day it is really picking up now. I don’t like it. 😻🙏❤️
Interesting film , Thanks Richard. Keep safe.

It was a really fierce wind. That was our neighbours aerial that fell.

Violent storms across the globe highwinds. 10 inches of rain in 3 hours in Rio! Very scary. Be safe

It was a little scary at times but good to know that it has stayed intact so far!

Yes i will be very happy once it has died down completely - we are still getting some strong gusts but not as constant as it was

Oh no - how awful for you!
Downstairs woodburner presently 'shuddering!?!?'
🇨🇦 So frightening, our National news reported with some terrifying footage. So happy to hear you are both ok🙂
There certainly were some scary moments 😳
Take care both of you. It's actually briefly sunny here in North Yorkshire at the moment, with the wind peaking about 5pm.
Glad you are both safe and ok. So far we seemed to have escaped with gusts of wind and a couple of heavy showers….🤞
Spooky indeed it is over the Netherlands now.
Incredible Richard. So scary glad you didn't have and structural damage. I imagine your relieved that tall tree was reduced before this storm hit. Hope its calmer there now.
Yes i am glad about that, although the ivy laden pear tree has taken a bit of a beating!
Wow that is terrible!!!! We have snow only here in Ireland at the moment. Glad both of you are safe..please stay that way! x
It seems to be dying down now with the occasional very strong gust
Wow, that was some storm. I wonder if there were many trees damaged by it? Glad you and Paul were fine.
I believe there has been quite a bit of damage to trees and property and sadly three people lost their lives and a number were injured.
@@RichardandPaul Oh I'm so sorry to hear that.
Oh wow, may the winds calm and everyone be safe 🙏🏼💫❣️

My word! I hope you don't have any major damage.
We were very lucky...no major damage as far as we can tell.

It's very scary. Take care Pamela
Just knew you couldn't resist a storm video Richard...not as bad as they made out here in Birmingham but still quite windy.
It's pretty bad here....there are trees and lines down round here.
2nd..Heyy Guys....Yes weird weather here too in NJ-Phila....67 in the am, temp going down to 35 by this afternoon...high winds - crazeeeee
Ooh scarey here in Ashby-De-La-Zouch stay safe both of you xx
And you too Mandy
Yes, just up the road in Melbourne, and blowy here too. Keep safe all.
Keep safe everyone x
It’s easing off here in Cardiff. Stay safe both x
It seems to be easing a little here now
Crikey, it’s still raging here in Dublin too!
Stay safe Joan.
Cheers, Richard, seems so much calmer now, suns out too 👍🏻
We still have strong winds here in Norfolk.
Take care Sue.

Still going strong here ☹️🌸
