If Makoto dies you get teleport to the lobby?

If you die to regular enemies, at least on merciless, you can only reload a save file. Given that most of us (or at least me) saves at the lobby, that’s where I end up. So I’m technically brought back to the lobby from my last save. If you die to bosses, you can restart the fight or reload a save.
