I grew up in the South in the ‘80s and ‘90s, and have fond memories of the T15 “Bug-a-way” bulbs. They always remind me of the heads of Lego mini figures!

Yup remember the yellow T-19 light bulb as a child & the T-19 bulb & S-14 lightbulbs are my favourite, as I have a good few of the S-14 lightbulbs in my collection & use one in a plug in lantern that I bring to camp!🙂🏕🙂🏕

I also think some of these tiny floods could have been used in auditoriums and library lights too.

I think some of those tiny flood bulbs may have been used in display cases or some kind of effects lighting. The globe bulbs were used in bathroom light bars. Some of the yellow bulbs I think were those "bug light" bulbs that supposedly did not attract insects as much (not sure how well they worked).

Very nice haul! I especially like that Westy bug-a-way bulb, those halogen bulbs, and the Sylvania ET metal halide bulb. Very interesting find on that Philips 10w PL-C lamp. It’s definitely for a different market, very odd! I like that ABCO PL lamp too.
I just went to one of my local ReStores today, and they didn’t have any bulbs! I asked the casheir about it and apparently they had been selling a lot of light fixtures and people were buying bulbs with them, so they ran out. I did manage to pick up a nice uplight fixture though!

The Philips Director lamp was made December 1994 in Monterrey, Mexico.
Those JDD halogen lamps were originally made up to 250W for use in high power downlighters, and are still used as model lights in professional photography strobes. Those are the lamps that burn continuously so that the photographer knows where the strobes will illuminate.
The ET18 400W halide is meant for highly controlled beam floodlights designed for ET18 envelope lamps. It isn't a direct HPS retrofit as it needs an M59 ballast.

I believe Radionic was a ballast manufacturer. Interesting to see a lamp by them. It should be halophosphate as it is labeled “warm white.” If it were tri-phosphor, it would be labeled “830” or “3000K,” or something like that.

I love those Westinghouse star bulbs

That 10-watt CFL was most likely a foreign lamp type, but still really cool. The 22-watt circline fluorescent is probably halophosphate instead of tri-phosphor since it is labeled “warm-white”. I remember long ago, there were flat glass cobrahead fixtures along the Rose Parade route, Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena CA that had used that 400-watt metal halide lamp in them. I am sure the fixtures were replaced with new LED fixtures at some point. Nice finds!

    Awesome finds.
The Abco lamp was made by Sylvania.
The 10w PL-C was made mainly for 240v countries , just like the 11w PL-S if you ever find one of those.

Those are some fantastic finds right there! Radionic is a ballast manufacturer, they have been around since 1939, just a year after the advent of the fluorescent tube. Never seen any Radionic branded fluorescent tubes so that’s pretty interesting. I actually happen to have one of those receptacle to medium base with outlets adapters. Looks like you have one very similar to mine, made by Snap-It. Only difference is yours is ivory, mine is a brown one, I also found it to be very interesting when I first got my hands on it. I suppose I’ll add one more thing here, I also like those old Leviton work lights, I really want to find one, used to have one, but unfortunately it was lost during some family conflict. I like how the shades on them are more compact than modern ones, got an almost complete one from my high school a few years back, it’s missing the shade though. Anyways, fantastic video!

Oh man! Those little halogen light bulbs look friggin' awesome! The Panasonic CFL appears to be from the early 90's. And that 10 W is definitely from Europe as it has the European energy usage graph above the UPC code. That's what they use in the European Union countries.
