This once again show the problem with this game. Luxembourg never took over the UK or launched an invasion of the USA but Allies AI apparently can do it? Of course Luxembourg lost. They had the army, techs and all that but because of brain dead AI they just stood around doing nothing while the Allies AI created armies in the US forever.
AI Naval Production DLC needed. Naval Invasion DLC wouldn't be bad either
Well you see, because of the allies ridiculous navy, and Luxembourg not getting any ships, they have to wait for years in order to be able to land, at which point the UK has become a fortress. Now a player would just paradrop in 1940, take a port, take his chances by shipping over an army, and taking out britain, meaning the player doesn't need naval supremacy, but the AI does.
This is the biggest problem on naval invasions, the NEED to have more ships to be able to even start, I wouldn't mind being able to start an invasion with no naval supremacy, all be it on the cost of running the risk of your army being destroyed. Or the landing being way less effective.

I'm joining late into the war. Problem is not the navy creation by the AI. Thing is, luxembourg started the whole war without any ship, even if they had the technology, it would have taken so much effort to be on part with italy, britain, france and US's navy. Plus, the AI is forbidden to use paratrooper and won't research the tech / deploy any paratrooper, concentrating on marines and on mountaineers instead.
Oh my gosh, you did it.
And just like the Mongol Empire, they couldn't take out the Japanese.

The AI really struggled with moving units, it guarded victory points for no reason and it would move back and forth the units instead of leaving some to guard the ports lol
that's one of the problems with using the garrison button, instead of setting up troops that will stay in place, they move troops around more than they should, which is why when big hoi4 players do garrisons they use fallback lines to keep the garrison divisions from moving, hopefully in the future paradox will fix that

After seeing the 1954 peace treaty, I've decided that I don't need my eyes anymore, I've seen enough.
The problem is Lux. Didn't have a navy to begin with, so the odds of it getting a navy that could match Britain much less every one lux. Is fighting would be very low.. Still a very good video however. What would be cool to see Is an Irish world conquest, seeing as they have the potential for a navy
Late game naval AI production is below poor. You can't give ships to nations, they need to build them. So Irish or almost any world conquest is close to impossible. Even USA if it loses its fleet wont care to build new ones but will just build convoys.

@@Tatusiek_1 the us alone in hoi4 could easily beat south America in terms of production. The issue is the lack of infrastructure would cause it to be slow, and if the colonial land in north and south America weren't dealt with that would be an issue for both of them. If not then it's a stalemate with the eurasian continent having the best odds of eventual victory. Basically, you are correct however the colonies would become an issue and may need to be removed.
Not sure who would win, but mostly likely Europe or Asia if we're talking raw power here. Europe because of the tech and well-equipped troops, but all of Asia would be endless manpower. Of course if western Russia is made part of Europe then that would scarcely leave any industry in Asia. Though supplying an invasion of Asia would be hard for the Europeans.
Can we take a moment to appreciate that last italian resistant at the south of the country?

With each day Luxembourg's tech advantage decreased.
Have you noticed, that Japan fought so well with Luxembourg alone that it didn’t even allow them to land on their islands? This is despite the fact that Britain had a powerful ally in the person of the States, and here Japan fought almost alone with Luxembourg and even managed at some points to break through at least 1-2 provinces. Hirohito is super strong.
Not to mention Japan had zero armor at first and only like a fraction of Lux’s factories yet they even managed to successfully counterattack and make beachheads *several* times

We gotta give the Italians credit, they technically survived longer than the Soviets, and Luxembourg had to advance through Central Europe to even reach the Soviet border.

How about you create a series that instead of one ultra tech nation fighting the entire world, make multiple ultra tech nation fight against the the world, and once the ultra tech nations meet they will fight each other. For example you could make ultra tech Germany vs Ultra tech Japan vs the world

Nuking their captured factories was possibly one of the things that contributed to a faster collapse. They lost the industrial war. Couldn't produce enough planes.
