Not necessarily. When you say ww2 most people instantly think of Nazi Germany and Hitler. The war in the Pacific and Asia usually aren't thought of as much.

The term "Pacific Theater" is a misnomer used in American Media at the time to gloss over the fact that the US was involved in two separate wars.
The US Armed Forces however had several theaters for both the European Front (Italian, France, etc) and the Pacific War (Burmese, Guadalcanal, etc).
@back2bother you Russia only declared war on Japan right before they surrendered, dumbass. The US practically did all the work in the Pacific. Hell, not even many Europeans got involved there. There was British Singapore, and I think Australia too, but definitely not Russia, not near as much as the US.

Seriously, who at Paradox thought it would be a good idea to make you take hundreds of casualties from resistance in a "historical" scenario, and not be able to actually suppress resistance WITH THE SYSTEM THAT'S DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY TO SUPPRESS RESISTANCE?!?! Also, compliance gain is *painfully* slow.
And that's not to mention that the Spanish civil war always becomes non-historical, EVEN WHEN THE GAME IS SET TO HISTORICAL AI...

All the speeches I found so far from your PMs and generals just don't fit what I'd like to do for Aussie World Conquest. America only had a few divisions fighting there because they were focused on taking Asia and Europe
@@SilverState99 adding on, the infrastructure and thus supply is bad in both places (unless the Soviets built the trans Siberian railway) but Siberia has larger single providences making capture seem faster. And the defense of a smaller area is easier, mountains help as well, this is why China is always a slog to fight through in hoi4 and South America isn't much better.
Note that the Amazon starts with zero infrastructure. Brazil didn't get it's nuts kicked in till the states took chili's ports

@@lgardner7176 Russia and china alone physically can't beat the us there navies would both be desimated making any landings in the us a stalemate then China trade would be cut off although they would probably find another way to get it before they ran out however every single island that's not on the Chinese mainland would be taken after that it would be a stalemate they will probably try and take Korea which would likely succeed but the us against them can't lose and even if they cut off the us from iran the us can supply itself also Chinese ballistic missiles use satellites in 2001 the us successfully tested a missile that shot down a satellite that was 19 years ago they could probably emulate the entire worlds satellite system by now so if anybody would win it would be the us

The axis really ruins it because they fought each other, if they didn't fought each other, and just focus on the US, the rest of the world might hold out against US army.
The Factions mechanic separated the axis and allies. Yes both were fighting the states but they weren't actual allies in practice allowing germany's focus tree be there downfall.
