Totally my kind of fishing too. Who cares about commercial waters catching fish with names? This is the real deal! Different league and it is not about big fish as well, every fish counts ;)
I love this, as a US Carp Angler we unfortunately don’t have stocked water or syndicate lakes. Everything we fish for is wild so seeing someone else do it over the pond allows someone like me to pick up new ideas and tips. Greatly appreciated for posting this it helps more than you can know. Tight lines from the US, 🤙🏾.
Hi Nico, many thanks for the kind words its greatly appreciated 👏🏻👍🏻 Good luck in your quest for those wild USA carp. Great to know the vids are helping 🎣
This is what it's all about! In the middle of no where.. No-one for miles👍 (most of the time 🙄) this time of the year I always mask the hook point with foam and squeeze 2 bits either side of the hook so as nothing gets cought on the point. Brilliant video Jim you really do get to see some stunning places, would love to visit the villa again and fish the lot hopefully see you in the future

I love the French canals, I'm currently building a small cabin boat so I can go and hit them for a few weeks at a time but I'm holding off till late next year to do it. Lost a couple of good fish had my hooklink snapped which was frustrating
When I go back will definitely take a leaf out of your book and fish much larger baits as I was generally using 18mm or 20 mm bottom baits with 15mm pop ups as a snowman and the chub had no bother taking these, I was also getting loads of liners which I think alot of the time were crayfish
My French pal had notable fish of 28 and 37.07 plus many smaller fish
He was using much larger boilies and seemed to get considerably less liners than I did the flow and the loose weed were an issue in some places so used back leads to avoid the weed but there are so many fantastic looking swims if you go 12 hours without a take you tend to start getting twitchy and looking to move (the grass is always greener !)
