There are so many people who suffer in the jobs they have because they are too frightened to have a go at something they might have dreamed of doing as a child. I wish the tech you have today was available 40 years ago, or maybe it was but out of my price range at the time, because I would have given it a go, although, the Internet wasn't quite on the go back then either. lol. Best Fishing channel on TH-cam, I never miss a video. I've been fly fishing since I was a child, which I still do religiously but you boys brought me another avenue of joy, Barbel fishing, I now spend many evenings sat on the mighty River Wye in Wales just soaking it up and waiting for that big wrap around 🙂. It kept me firstly in touch with the many hours in a bivvy i spent in my teens and during Covid the country of my birth. I was concerned i would lose this when alex left but both have you have proved bold decisions are not easy but risk do equal reward. As always your straight forward open honesty with your viewers in videos such as this one provide an inspiration in human decency beyond wetting nets. The snagged bro collabs are gold those guys are pure brummie comedy geniuses in their own right and should be given a TV show on channel 4. Hey carl (and alex), thanks for making these videos! Since 2020 ive started pike fishing and caught between 10-20 pikes untill now (late half 2021- whole 2022 caught 0 sadly). Also started carp fishing this year and caught first (and only) carp which was also like ~18 pounds. Couldnt have done that without your videos on this channel and the fishing tutorials channel. Honestly... While I think the Blackfoot campaign was certainly the highlight... But the farm pond campaign was impressive to say the least and it absolutely inspired me to branch out and try my luck aswell... Pike fishing is exhilarating! It is my favorite Beast to fish for. Their lightning fast speed & split second aggression Makes them extremely fun to fish for, It is not a technical specie to fish for. Your presentation does not have to be perfect, subtle, patient or graceful. It basically comes down to putting your bait in front of the fish and if they're hungry they're gonna eat it, Pretty straight forward! 😂

Pike fishing is exhilarating! It is my favorite Beast to fish for. Their lightning fast speed & split second aggression Makes them extremely fun to fish for, It is not a technical specie to fish for. Your presentation does not have to be perfect, subtle, patient or graceful. It basically comes down to putting your bait in front of the fish and if they're hungry they're gonna eat it, Pretty straight forward! 😂
