I dunno how any of your other students feel, Misa, but I find the length of these early videos i.e. between 15 and 20 mins absolutely perfect. There is so much information to absorb. My little Irish brain invariably tunes out when I try to do more than one lesson at a time. But youre doing a wonderful job. I look forward to learning more from you every day xx
hey I love your teaching style it is really great the way you break down everything for past present and future and breaking down the particles that is a big help and also grammer is a big help. thank you so much. keep up the good work.
Watching through these lessons in order feels like I’m unlocking the next piece to the giant puzzle. Your teaching really is fantastic. I can really feel the progression.
日本で英語を教えたい!I'm studying Japanese by myself, and your videos have been a super helpful supplement to my textbook lessons! You may things very clear and easy to understand along with introducing a lot of casual and natural stuff that's not in the textbooks. ありがとうございますみさ先生!!!
This woman is an angel. What a queen. I don't even have the words how grateful I am to you Misa ♥ I wonder if anyone knows of a similar video series teaching Chinese...
I loved it!!! I lived in Japan for two years but I have forgotten most of what I learned. You make me remember many things. Thank you very much!!! Watashi wa nihon ni sunde imashita. LOL.
Ok, I really learned alot from this video. I have been studying 10 months but you talked about something I have not yet learned. Looking forward to watching the rest of the videos. Thanks Misa!
I've just started to watch your videos and I'M AMAZED. It's been a struggle to retain this information but I've been trying my best for about 3 days with your videos. I've been at learning Japanese for about 3 weeks now. I'm going to watch all your videos about Japanese and soon go through all of them again, yes again, to take notes on it. It will be better and easier to remember because I would of already heard and listened to it from the first time I watched it! ^_^
Thank you Miss for your videos I have just started learning Japanese since March and been watching your videos I have learnt so much from them and my teacher is very impressed how quickly I’m learning (thanks to you)
sensei, definitely we can easily learn nihongo because the grammar and words are very similar to my mother tongue tamil In tamil we have these words kasu - money ( which has meaning of lend in nihon) kiru/vettu - cut ( it is cut in japanese also) kulandai - child ( Kodomo in japanese) anna - elder brother anni - elder brother's wife kelu - listen ( it is kiku in japanese) pesu - speak ( it is hanasu in japanese) karku - learn ( kaku in japanee means to write) Ippa/ippo - now ( it is Ima in japanese) you are using Te form + iru to express continuous meaning. It is same in tamil aso. sappittu kondu iru kiren ( Meaning I am eating food) Nadandu kondu iru kiren ( meaning I am walking) iru kiren is used to express continous. OMG. Japanese have enormous link with tamil, a south indian language also an official language of singapore and srilanka.
Same with me, since my mother tongue is malayalam I understand the grammar particles easily since its so similar..! Also some words like kiku (hear) is kelku in malayalam and iku (go) is poku 😂
i spent a few years trying to learn a while back but gave up in frustration, but i might start again after watching your lesson here, you make things very clear, good technique yeah
My Name is Earl was great! I’m glad I’ve found your videos too because they’re excellent. I’ll catch up to to your current videos in, say, the next 5 years! 🤪
I love that you’ve seen My Name Is Earl! That show was so good. It wasn’t very popular and got canceled in the US years ago, so most people I know here in the US don’t know about it.

This is pretty cool! I've only studied formal speaking, so this is great to learn the informal speaking. 嬉しい!
Informal speaking is important because you can relate to the natives and vice versa.
That was quite a way to describe babies(akachan) 😂😂😂

msel04 japanese got influenced by india and china in the history, maybe because of that it sounds very similar
