- This video is meant to prompt a new understanding of how to look at posing and expression in drawing cartoons. One of the key takeaways is that "fancy drawing" and fixed formulas, which are commonly pushed, are not the REAL keys to effective pose and expression. Factors such as symbols, angles, proximities, and combinations of elements are far more important. You can play with simple index cards and discover this for yourself.
