They had to prove themselves just to fit in to the people of Mercury. They did all difficult and life risky jobs to protect the people of mercury and have safe base on mercury. One day, as they finishing their work a problem had occur that risk a life of a person. That person is one of the Haters of Suretta and her mother. Even tho Suretta is just 11 years old that time, she risk her life with Aerial to save that man from the sun. Their actions made the people of Mercury accepts them as one of them. Years had passed and Suretta is now 16 years old. Her mother gifted Suretta a very good news in her birthday. She said that she could now enroll and study to earth as her mother already enrolled her. But Aerial knew her mother was just using her to take revenge on the people on earth who hurted them. At first Suretta is hesitant not because of what her mother wanted but how will people of mercury will be safe if Suretta and Aerial will fled to Earth. Also she doesn't know anything to Earth and they don't have any people that being closed to them in Earth. It's an overwhelming situation for Suretta. But Suretta realise that running away from problems would do nothing so she decides to take what her mother ask to study to learn more how she would protect mercury and no one will ever die in Mercury's harsh environment. Her mother was so very proud of her and Suretta and Aerial fled to go to Earth to study and protect Mercury without being tangled to anything but to her dreams.
I thought the one who decided against use of GUND-ARM were the spacenoids while people from Earth still eager to use it (the lab in prologue was acquired by an Earth company iinm). Does the spacenoids have authority to remove Gundams from Earth too?

The real love story is Aerial and Suletta. Aerial loves her so much the "curse" won't get her... until she can break away and overcome they'll always be together, man and machine. She is granted not a curse... but a lot of blessings. After hearing the full song I understood the meaning of its title.

I'm the type of person that's picky with artstyle when watching anime. Witch From Mercury drawn me into the story and the artstyle. I love that WFM is my first gundam series. I even created a fanart of depressed Suletta (see my pfp) as my way to appreciate the series
With the exception of Barbatos and Turn A, there is a tradition in most Gundam alternate universe shows that the main character would either lose their first mobile suit in favor for a newer, stronger one or their suit will get badly damaged and upgraded. (Kira from SEED lost the Strike and gained the Freedom, Shinn lost the Impulse and gained the Destiny, Setsuna lost the Exia and gained the 00, Heero lost the Wing Gundam and gained the Wing Zero, Garrod lost Gundam X and got the DX). I sincerely hope Aerial gets the latter fate rather than the former because ngl, its song is making me feel feels as a guy who always had to obey and do as he's told.

Also I don't think another gundam is ready somewhere since the current ms type aside from Aerial isn't gundam (which is forbidden, that's why Suletta and mom ran away from being witch hunted all the way to Mercury). From the short story this song is based from, I actually believe that Lfrith is an entirely different Gundam from Aerial (as Aerial said that it was Suletta's mom who created her; Lfrith was created by Elnora's boss). It could be that Aerial was developed from Lfrith but I believe Lfrith is somewhere out there. I think Lfrith ended up becoming Elnora's personal unit. She was able to hide Aerial so she might have been able to hide Lfrith as well.

The family of 3 just take an entirely different name in Mercury to be safe from witch hunt. The mom also is the one who helped and develop her, so I think its the same as her birth mother. Aerial never mentions about Lfrith and her mom also.Aerial only mentions worry that others knew if Aerial is gundam, which is different from other ms. With the exception of Barbatos and Turn A, there is a tradition in most Gundam alternate universe shows that the main character would either lose their first mobile suit in favor for a newer, stronger one or their suit will get badly damaged and upgraded. (Kira from SEED lost the Strike and gained the Freedom, Shinn lost the Impulse and gained the Destiny, Setsuna lost the Exia and gained the 00, Heero lost the Wing Gundam and gained the Wing Zero, Garrod lost Gundam X and got the DX). I sincerely hope Aerial gets the latter fate rather than the former because ngl, its song is making me feel feels as a guy who always had to obey and do as he's told.

From the short story this song is based from, I actually believe that Lfrith is an entirely different Gundam from Aerial (as Aerial said that it was Suletta's mom who created her; Lfrith was created by Elnora's boss). It could be that Aerial was developed from Lfrith but I believe Lfrith is somewhere out there.
I think Lfrith ended up becoming Elnora's personal unit. She was able to hide Aerial so she might have been able to hide Lfrith as well.

The family of 3 just take an entirely different name in Mercury to be safe from witch hunt. The mom also is the one who helped and develop her, so I think its the same as her birth mother.
