That front clip removal was a humble flex for sure. Larry, you have been a machine getting all these cars and interviewing the owners/builders. Smart that you're staking multiple interviews at each event and spacing out the video drops so you have a video for just about every day of the week.
Yeah, but i think its at the Japanese classic car show Long Beach, CA. The show cars stage early like at 5-6am and there are apartment nearby, they don't mind noise after 9-10am, its inevitable at that point lol
Just depends on how many rotors and how well you build the engine but YES you are right it is very hard to produce power from a rotary engine especially 2 rotors unless you use boost ! I mean look at Adam LZs 4 rotor A90 Supra its running around 500 also !
4 years ago Larry video of 3.2L turbo L28 making 650hp ate and in the 1970s Aussie Speedway racer 'Baz" of datsport won many titles vs v8s with supercharged L series combinations. One was a Nissan L13 crank/rods L18 Block 1352cc DC3 Aircraft SC 435hp@9100rpm, Dry Dumped, 2x50mm Mech INJ. OHC ported to 40mm with 44mm/35mm valves, 0.625" lift racer brown cam. Would love to see modern tuned L18 later screw-type supercharger which are 70% efficient than old AE 48% units. I love that 4 rotor but love to see older L series given some boost.
Nice,. Out of the box build and with a 4 rotor. It's probably better with a 4 door as it has a more reinforced chassis at the door pillars, just like the 510s. Simple, clean and.to the point build, NA. 4 rotor might be an over kill as it now throws off the weight ration, and a 3 rotor is much more suited. It would be more appropriate in a z chassis. But, never the less a nicely built, non easter egg build and all business. 😊
All race/drift cars benefit greatly from a dry sump system especiallya bigger rotary like a 4 rotor, provides adequate oil flow during extreme cornering and under high gforces 👍
I'm not a fan of drift at all it's a complete waste of machinery... Put the employee some technology that is useful in a regular sense.... Drifting is an absolute waste of engine transmission tires brakes everything,, it's a super quick degradation and abuse of machinery, I lived in Japan for a long time and before drift was cool in the states we would go out at night late and drift the mountain... These are regular people with regular cars and of course there are a few hot rods in there.... Want to speak of is a Toyota trueno... With an apex motor, all the Japanese dudes wanted a true no with an apex!!! That's like a race motor tune ported screamer factory 9000 RPM shift! So I got to see the beginning of drift culture in this country way back in the early nineties in Japan the birthplace of all this, I love Japan. I love road racing I have raced motorcycles and cars professionally on tarmac most of my life. Drifting that they do in the States is hokie and not the same!!! Rerun the mountains at night in Japan sliding down the mountains!!!!

Best outro to a video I've ever seen. Amazing brother. Really? Really? I've been watching everything I can that you put out for the last 7-8 years man
This against Mad Mike's 4rotor 808 Wagon?? Now that would be a sight to see 😊
Party pooper @ 7:05

Larry, you rock! Love the channel and content. Peace 🤘
One of my favorite builds by far
over 400hp of power from a n/a rotary? :0 daaayum son, didn‘t know that is possible without turbo

Of course it's possible, will only last 100 miles through 😂😂😂

Goodbye door paint. Lol
Just came down to say this haha
Wipes right off with carnauba butter wax… I use it on my catless cars exhaust.
Worth it🔥🔥🔥🔥

Was that Han from F&F at @ 7:10
Sick like some of the build s you show but how about like to see it in action ???
Thank you for doing what you do!
Love the chassis nut right above the throttle body, talk about a close fit.
A drift car on A7's..... and a 26b no less!
Shout out for the Volvo EPS!
Sounds epic on itbs
7:46 That poor passenger door!

This thing is SICK! So fucking cool, man!
Larry search low standards! Jay has the best outside the box 4rotor in the world
Truly Truly Insane ❤😅❤
Cool build!
❤ Toyota GR ♥️
R26B............. RB26. That's actually a nice nod to the Nissan Skyline GT-R and a double Madza 13B at the same time. 😁🤘
He should do FD pro 2 in it lol would be a O.G Skyline and R31 wagon in pro 2, and a R32 4 door in pro next year 😂
What did he say the wheel brand was?
Dry sump ?? Thought rotary’s were total loss oiling?
All race/drift cars benefit greatly from a dry sump system especiallya bigger rotary like a 4 rotor, provides adequate oil flow during extreme cornering and under high gforces 👍
what are those throttle bodies?
This is sickkk
Hakosuka hawk tuah?
youtoob translated your comment to Hakosuka luck hawk 😂
Interesting how different 4 rotors can sound, rob dahms for example is much different in pitch
monster
That car sounds like a really pissed off bumble bee. Lol
If it had a turbo a 4 rotor would be well over 1000hp. Rob dahms 4 rotor makes like 1400hp
Hello my friend today we gonna see how to instal windows 😂
Like it ate a 787B!!! Nasty!!! Very nasty!!! 🙌🏽🤯🫥
All that and no drift?
He painted his door soot black
✌🏻😊
I know its a 4 door, but it looks like an oversized 2 door 510 lol
R26B.. haha clever..
As good as it sounds tho, I’d prefer to hear an RB26 at 10k rpm..
R26B is the original Mazda 4 rotor engine code
no doubt a kiwi engineered 4 rotor. and yes you can just buy a 4 rotor. they are the new 13b now. so over popular
I thought it was a Nissan 510.
i wish they didn't use those blue n red fittings tho smh
How come that guy (as a gaijin) speaks perfectly japanese???
Nice car but the tires look toasted.
hoosier slicks
Adam lz is going to want your secrets
WHO?
why? this one doesnt even sound like a proper 4 rotor anyways
Fantastic car...
wish it was Nissan engine
