    I don’t blame Simon the sandbox sounds like much more fun than saying hi to us 😂 I’m glad your family had a nice trip.

    Wish I could find a way to share our ‘68 Yellowstone Cavalier project with you. Basically doing exactly the way you’ve rebuilt the handful of trailers you’ve done and this channel has proved to be an invaluable resource for information on our build! Thanks so much for this content, Conan and family!

      Well thanks for watching, Kevin! You can always email us through our business: info@lamphousephotoco.com
      Honestly I should probably set up a separate email for the channel.

    Good show. Your camper is a one of a kind. Enjoy. Your son is going to be a good camper thanks to you.

      He woke up one morning and the first thing he said to me was, "Maybe I'd feel better if I went camping." I didn't think he was feeling bad, but I guess we can always feel better, lol! Thanks for watching!

      You know, it was actually really nice, and I didn't really notice it was that cold. I spilled a bit of coffee on the table and went to clean it up later, and I couldn't figure out why it wasn't wiping away, well it was cold enough to freeze it obviously!

    2:22 "Do you want to say hi to the people?" "NOPE" 🤣 Also, hello from Douglas County, KS! My wife and I are renovating a 1967 Play-Mor and learning as we go. Your videos have been helpful!

      "Nope" is a fair response I figured. Good luck on your Play-Mor; they're the perfect size for a small camper!

    I love these little campers! I used to tent it but have back issues. If I get a jeep or small SUV I want one So much! Love camping! Thanks for sharing Your story and showing your camper!

      A small camper is such a great upgrade over tent camping. Setup and teardown is super easy, and nothing beats having a REAL mattress to sleep on!

    How cool…we are in NW AR right now as well. So beautiful. The color in the trees has got to be addictive to a photographer.
    You were only a few miles from the old/closed Dogpatch USA.

      It really was beautiful, and we did drive right past Dogpatch! It was tempting to stop.

    would love to restore a small van like that but i dont think we had any this small in Australia, at least i havent found one yet.. keep looking....

    • @jennyleef1775
      @jennyleef1775 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there are small ones around but like hen's teeth to find. Mostly 1970's Viscounts and Millard's that I have seen. The 10 & 12 foot ones are harder to find than 14-15 foot. We have a little 15 foot 1978 Viscount Pop Top which we love.

      Thanks Jennylee for answering that much better than I could've. I really don't know much about Australian camper brands.

      I actually wound up selling this one to take care of some debt incurred during the pandemic, but I thought I'd have its replacement finished by now, but I'm still working on it little by little.

    Camping spots in Arkansas? Oh lord there are so many. Mount Magazine, Mount Nebo, Petit Jean state park, upper Buffalo River area, Sam’s Throne, and Devils Den State Park. I haven’t even mentioned any of the lakes.

    Would u consider putting in an used furnace out of a hard top as u can set a temp and your good

    • @TrailerTrashtoTreasure
      @TrailerTrashtoTreasure  ปีที่แล้ว

      I might consider it if I had one, but this camper doesn't have a propane system, so it'd be a bit of a project to convert to a gas heater, and I don't think we'd get a huge benefit from one for how we typically camp.

  • @ProjectNineOaks
    @ProjectNineOaks ปีที่แล้ว

    We've noticed on our old camper that during travel our jalousie windows open up some. So far it hasn't been too big a deal but if it rains during travel, it could be a big deal. Does that happen to you? If so, how do you keep your windows shut during travel?

    • @TrailerTrashtoTreasure
      @TrailerTrashtoTreasure  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have any problem with ours, but you might want to check and maybe replace your window crank operator depending on what type of window you have.

    • @TrailerTrashtoTreasure

      The little mat is from target and the big one is from Amazon. I'll put the links to both in the description now

    AN'T THAT THE TRUTH ABOUT THE WEATHER, HEY! DO YOU HAVE ANY 3/4 SQUARES YOU CAN PUT UNDER JACKS SO THEY DON;T SINK UNEVENLY IN DIRT? THAT'S WHAT WE USE.

    • @TrailerTrashtoTreasure
      @TrailerTrashtoTreasure  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I've got some pads, but we left in a bit of a hurry, and I naturally left them sitting on the back porch.

      Yeah I know about the extinguisher, it's on my list for replacement, and I know I should just go do it. Electric levelers would be nice, but with such a small camper it seems a bit of overkill. Thanks!
