I was telling someone this, most African/ Ghanaian women are not in-love with their spouse. they are only in a relationship because the man can take care of them financially. So ones they start making money on their own, they start realizing the don’t love the men. Women everywhere should financially independent first and marry someone you love. Your husband is not your bank.

I always tell people that, the western world system is built for couples. Life will be so much easier if You get a partner who is hard working, focused and a team player. Once You found a good partner, stick with the person and build the life together.

At least she was honest except the part she said western women don't like money😂😂. Even if she makes money she would still want her husband to make more and pay all bills, otherwise that husband will be in hell and later thrown into trash. The woman will regret it when she gets older and can't do all that work she is doing now. That passing through will end at around 50 going. She would be lonely and depressed. Unless she relocates or have businesses that can fetch her enough money

Have you not met any woman born is Ghana but portrays herself as a westerner before? These western shows and music videos being shown on Ghana TV has make a very big impacts on Ghanaian women than those living in the western world. Girls in Ghana especially educated ones has adapted to western cultures before they even travel abroad. So yeah, upbringing can play a part but it’s all about individual preferences. Most mothers do their best to train the girls very well as cultures demands but education is training them differently.

The UK systems gives freedom to everybody. If you want to be great you can be great. In think in her case, the man was insecure the woman is moving in a better class and he probably felt he can’t improve himself to match up to her.
This is one of the reasons why those brought up in higher class, better financial situation and wealth don’t want to marry lower grade (financial, social, mental and beliefs) individuals.
Another problem in her marriage was he 25 (9+16) year old man be with an underage lady. Most of such guys want to weave her from family so that they can control her mind and make her servant. It was right for her family not to allow their relationship on the onset. A full blown adult of 25 years should not be allowed to have relations with an underage girl. It’s simply illegal.
If she had gone to university to develop herself I’m pretty sure her choice of man would be someone with better education and career prospects.
One last advice, if you migrate from Ghana, please try your best to adjust mentality and UNLEARN and LEARN. If not please move back home to Ghana.
Example, women abroad do not succumb to abuse (emotional, financial, verbal). In a developed world women are empowered (financially) so when a man talks, the woman would also talk.
The best way to live in a successful marriage is to live in truthfulness, honesty, transparency and love. If you can’t love and respect a woman please don’t marry in a developed world. Marriage is partnership. No woman would submit to a man who doesn’t respect and love her.
PS, if you disagree, please express yourself politely and type your opinion below.
