Here Rob Paulsen and Charlie Adler are reading the script to Mission Impossible. I drew some sketches a few years ago and finally got around to making it.
I think Rob really loves voice Carl Wheezer, especially how Carl has reached meme status online.
Both Rob and Charlie are super talented, I love that Charlie plays Cow, Chicken, Red Guy and I.R Baboon, when they're interacting you just forget these characters are just played by one guy, or when he plays Mr and Mrs Bighead in Rocko's Modern Life.
I think it would be amazing if someone actually animated to it, like Carl being CGI like he appears in Jimmy Neutron while Cow being a 2d cartoon.

Cow really stealing this whole thing
Just as the voice actor probably intended.
Cows VA had an great experience with another role from the same show for stealing the show.

Please, do you _really_ expect us to believe that _Carl Wheezer_ would hold somebody hostage over a _rabbit's foot?_ It is beyond clear that he is actually after the llama's pelt.
It's a means to a end. The Rabbit foot shows the way to the Golden llama.
No, see he needed that rabbits foot for it's luck, so that he can win the competion for the llamas pelt.
I'm glad Adler is still voice acting, despite no longer voicing Red Guy and Buster.

I actually spoke to him a couple of months ago, asking if he retired... and he said he will never retire and that he is just very busy voice directing... and that pretty much explains the lack of voice roles in recent years. Nonetheless, I'm pretty damn sure he would be more than happy to voice Red Guy again if given the opportunity (specifically Multiversus... hopefully🤞). Red Guy is one of his favorite voice roles, so there's just no way he intentionally would turn that down. That and nobody ever let him know about reprising his roles again. In Tiny Toons Looniversity's case, he said the crew wanted to reinvent the show and the characters... which explains why they made Buster and Babs siblings.
@@silverkittenx9763 Space Goofs was his last active cartoon, tbh. He did voiced others afterwards, but they were mostly background or villain characters if anything.
@@kootunesscrewy I really love that show (Bud is my favorite of the aliens)... but it released back in like 1997. Are you sure this was the last one? He was also in Brandy and Mr. Whiskers as one of the leads. That show was way after Space Goofs.
Cows voice is possibly my favorite cartoon voice.
It's apparently Charles Adler's favorite too. 😊 She was based on the mixture of a stereotypical little girl's voice (Cow's invention was inspired by Dave Feiss' then at the time excitable 6yr old daughter) and the 'simpering baby talk' sort of voice that Charles would do, the kind that we all do with our pets at home, whenever noone is watching as we pander down at them.😂 Y'know, like when someone goes "Does my kitty-kitty wanna TWEE-atttt? Yeah? Yeah? Doooh yew?😗"

Charlie Adler is one of the most talented and underrated voice actors in the industry, the fact he was able to do Cow, Chicken, AND the Red Guy all in the same cartoon was nothing short of impressive. Ickis from Real Monsters is probably one of my favorite vocal performances in anything
he even played bayformers starscream and a few roles in tom and jerry media

Cow is immaculate in the delivery reminds me why cow and chicken were so funny. Cow mannerisms and way she talks is so entertaining

These are wonderful expressions on cow. The intensity in the face and body language is pretty damn solid. I absolutely love how it escalates appropriately.

Holy cow, you actually got Charlie Adler to do Cow's voice. Well that sells it. You can't do Sherk 5 without the original cast - same applies here - Charlie Adler is this once in a generation talent whose voice is synonymous with Cartoon Network's success as much as Alan Menken's music is synonymous with the Disney Renaissance. What a thrill is would be to work with him. A truly gifted voice actor.
So i just watched the actual clip from the movie and I got to say I love how Rob is playing Carl calm and patient to the point he sounds down right nonchalant. Its no skin off his nose either way what happens. The way he says 'thats your choice' makes it sound like Cow is being the difficult one, not him. That if she just cooperates this would all be over. Then the turn happens and we see Carl get angry, and even then he still isn't screaming hysterically or getting overly angry. He's in control of his emotions and therefore in control of the situation.
To contrast that with Hoffman's performance, who does a very good job, when he gets angry it comes off more as desperate. At no point does Carl ever seem desperate. He just seemed annoyed and almost offended that Cow isn't taking him seriously; like he's irritated that Cow is wasting his time.
Or maybe im just reading too much into it. It is just a joke after all.

We grew up in the best generation. Getting to see all of these awesome cartoons on Nick and CN as kids, and then growing up to see their voice actors do stuff like this. I love it.
