- Today I go thrifting at Goodwill looking for items to flip online. I start out after having some lunch with @SonnyLasVegas searching for treasures. Then I stop by another Goodwill and find some rare items and get some inside information from a Goodwill manager. Its always nice to talk to the follow shoppers. We meet a few today.

I wonder if the shelves are becoming over-crowded because people just aren't buying at the high prices any longer? I mean -- everyone is noticing the high prices and lower quality. Goodwill has gone into the trade war with eBay sellers and taken much of the goodies themselves and left some little crumbs. It used to be fun to watch everyone find gems, now it's almost painful

@@SonnyLasVegas They made such lovely hand-enameled glass pieces as did Westmoreland glass back in the day. Paneled grape mold pattern glass in milk glass color was lovely ... and very collectible.

I have heard of See's Candies. Don't think we had them in Canada
See's is totally still around! HQ right here in Cal.Order online, though shipping in summer to NV will be super expensive because of need for overnight on ice. They will not ship you chocolate soup. lol Many of the store fronts are closing, but I think the HQ building shoppe is still open, not far from SF airport.

I had a good laugh today. I went into our Salvation Army and looked at their prices. The stuff on the shelves were overpriced or broken.

I wonder why Goodwill policies and discounts aren’t Universal? I live in Louisville Kentucky and we only have the color of the week tag no other discounts available.

Yes listing is the key to reselling successfully, no one can purchase your unlisted valuable items, just have to commit to spending a certain amount of time to listing everyday and stick to it.
10:00 Shona stone napkin rings, but they looked more World Market than Kenya. THe real stuff from the 80s and 90s was nicely carved. Unless there are at least four, fuggedaboutit. Eight is better. 16:23 I'd have left the bag behind too. It looked awful. It wasn't even a $10 lottery ticket, unless you mean an easy way to lose $10.. or $45 . The whole cabinet looked like junk; I'd bet they're sending the good stuff on line.
The McConaughey show is True Detective. You know Bose isnt probounced Boys, right? Theres no y or i, its Bose, like hose. Im not certain if you are a specialized seller, you seem to buy several catagories so I dont always understand the things you pass on. Not everything is going to give you 10x value, you can quickly move 4x & 5x items too. You are still making money and chances are you will bring in more from those things while waiting for the big ticket pieces to find a buyer You leave a lot of profit behind....a lot.
