The 1979 Canon, known as the ‘Sure Shot’ in the US, ‘AF35M’ in Europe and ‘Autoboy’ in Japan is a simple to use automatic point and shoot camera. It is the first in the ‘Sure Shot’ series, claimed as the first ‘active’ 35mm autofocus 35mm (as opposed to the Konica C35 AF that was ‘passive’). It has a 38mm, f2.8 lens, self-timer, integrated flash and auto film loading and winding. Still sought after today.
