Whilst it's true each content creator has a certain audience... Phil again fails to understand simple things that even "common folks" like us would know. Firstly, not every game is meant to be something which hundreds/thousands of people tune in to see. There's nothing wrong with just playing a game for yourself. Secondly, games do not make the stream. THE STREAMER makes the stream. Simple as that. For example, people tune in to Asmongold playing WoW, that can be super boring to watch unless he's doing a raid. The difference is, Asmongold is watchable (I know, some people don't like him) but he has some kind of pull where people want to tune in because he's at least entertaining to a lot of people. Phil is not entertaining, he is just simply not a nice person. Nobody wants to actively watch somebody who talks down to his own viewers, alienates most of them, forces them to talk about topics regarding him, give out preferential treatment to derranged members, begging on the regular, etc., I could be here all day writing all the things that make Phil a bad streamer. Whilst it's true each content creator has a certain audience... Phil again fails to understand simple things that even "common folks" like us would know. Firstly, not every game is meant to be something which hundreds/thousands of people tune in to see. There's nothing wrong with just playing a game for yourself.
Secondly, games do not make the stream. THE STREAMER makes the stream. Simple as that. For example, people tune in to Asmongold playing WoW, that can be super boring to watch unless he's doing a raid. The difference is, Asmongold is watchable (I know, some people don't like him) but he has some kind of pull where people want to tune in because he's at least entertaining to a lot of people.
Phil is not entertaining, he is just simply not a nice person. Nobody wants to actively watch somebody who talks down to his own viewers, alienates most of them, forces them to talk about topics regarding him, give out preferential treatment to derranged members, begging on the regular, etc., I could be here all day writing all the things that make Phil a bad streamer.
TLDR: Phil is a horrible person, he's not fun to watch, people don't wanna watch him play games unless he's raging because anything other than that is just pure hell.
