You know every one of us who watched this show back in the day absolutely swooned during your segments Wendy don't you? My goodness you were one of my top crushes Ukelele girl. Thank you for uploading these.
17:28 - Whatever happened to Glasgow actress June Andrews, seen performing alongside Lex MacLean throughout this series? She was an Scottish Television (STV) continuity announcer at their first home in Theatre Royal and appeared in various regional plays, theatre and pantomime performances and some of Britain's best-known TV shows (This Man Craig, The Vital Spark, ITV Sunday Night Theatre, Lex MacLean TV shows and Sutherland's Law to name a few) - I assume she may have passed away by now but any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
Hi Wendy ! It´s a very funny show. I laughed a lot. Just seeing Lex´s face I started to laughhhh, even there are parts of dialog I don´t understan, but by public I know he´s saying good jokes. Your part starts at 4:32 "Ukulele Girl" What a beautiful girl you are and the melody is great ! I liked very much. Greetings from Mexico...
ukulele girl? you need your fucking eyes tested...it's a banjo she was playing! The banjo and ukulele may have sounded the same, but they were two different instruments.
@@barbaraannecortina7899 No need to be quite so rude Babs dear, especially when you are quite wrong. It is indeed a ukulele - a banjo ukulele or banjolele as played by George Formby and others. In any case the poster didn’t say it was a ukulele. He referred to the name of the song. ‘ukulele Girl”. Silly girl!
These are magic. Can anyone get a tape of Lex Again out of BBC Scotland? I've seen one (incomplete) episode - the one about the pools win which was repeated as a one-off in the early to mid 1980s. I got this info from a forum, and it made me a lot more hopeful than I was before reading it. LEX COMPLAIN - All episodes wiped LEX AGAIN - SERIES 1 - Two episodes survive LEX AGAIN - SERIES 2 - Four episodes survive But how does one get to even see these, let alone get a Blu-Ray or DVD burnt, or even a VHS cassette copied? Massively interested in seeing these? Happy to pay costs of getting it, and add the money for a curry on top!

I was too young to appreciate Lex first time round. So it's great to see footage of him here.
