I have created this a while back but have been sick for a while. Finally feeling better to get this video and plans out. If you want any info on how I created this backdrop such as material or measurements. I have created plans with all the info at the Maker Decor store. The plans do not include the stencils for names. But I am uploading a video soon that will discuss your options for making or getting one made. Thank you so much for everyone who supports what we do!!

But how do you put nail to a thing wood like that without getting damaged from other side ?
Thank you, I used a 1/2 inch brad nails with the setting on low for my nail gun. But when I first made it, I forgot to switch the 1 inch nails I had in the nail gun and shot through the wood and my finger, lol. I felt so dumb, hahaha. But it happens and luckily my finger was alright. Then I switched to the 1/2 inch brad nail. I filmed it too, lol.

YES! its called a jig saw, scroll saw or band saw
@@burnu2240I have a jig saw and I’ve seen Ben do it with a jig saw and scroll saw before he got his CNC. Anyway, I was asking Ben, but thanks for chiming.
Hi, thanks for watching. Yes they do have a less expensive one, but it is because it is smaller version. So you will be limited in the size of things you can cut. There are other manufactures who make CNC machines that are less expensive but require you to build more of it yourself, such as BOBs CNC. Now I have only used mine, so I don't know those out there, but I have seen videos of people on TH-cam using them. I hope that helps and good luck!

Hi, I used a CNC for the Barbie sign and a co2 laser for the Mattel sign. But I have just put up another video that shows a different option for making the Barbie signs.

My brother got the wrong wood and I showed him the file and everything it’s just messed up and too heavy 😢
Oh no, I am sorry about that. Yes if he used thicker wood than what was in the plans or a different type it may be more heavier. It can be difficult, as when I first started building projects. I used thicker material because I wanted it to be strong, but learned after transporting a couple projects that lighter helps. Hopefully the next one is better.

Where do i purchase the paint from and whats the name of it
You can use any paint, and even take a barbie box to the paint store and they will color match it. But I just went with color Pink Burst from Lowe's and it was Glossy.

Hi, I picked mine from Lowe's and it was called Pink
Burst and High Gloss. Not sure if its the exact pink, but you can also take a barbie box and have them color match it. Good luck

Ben, are you concerned with people stepping in from the front and trippin? Also, is there some sort of “latch” to keep it from folding in and collapsing, even with the top on it. I love your work and have purchased plans from you! I’m also a subbie and from Houston, so I get the heat. Living in TN for now. Sorry for all the questions and comments. I admire your work and family. Me and my friends love ya, man. Any, I’m woman trying to do what you’re doing. I started an event equipment rental biz. You build items I can’t want to have in my biz.
Awesome, glad I could help. As for the tripping, I don't think it will be an issue, but you can always lower the front end or provide a stool to assist stepping into. This size is geared more toward teens, but I do have it in the plans for smaller versions. And thank you so much for the support and good luck on your new business!
