its about time.... i think this one will be a big hit..... erich is really embracing the maturity in every role she get..... but Kaye is the thing in this series.... showcasing her skills when it comes to acting... im starting to be a fan... i hope jason abalos can compliment for what erich and kaye offers as an artist.....

It's really disappointing to know that ABS-CBN writers are lazy in coming up with new and original teleserye shows. All they can offer is another remake of a koreanovela from an already remake-saturated line-up, and what's more, the remake is a downgrade from the originals. ABS-CBN writers are really running out of ideas. They need to fire these writers and hire new ones that can come up with a new and original teleserye show that will become a hit. On the other hand, look at GMA, they have good writers that are brimming with new ideas. Just look at another one of their new and original teleserye show called "Illustrado" , GMA writers are really good at coming up with a wide variety of new and original teleseryes. ABS-CBN should do the same by coming up with new and original teleserye and stop making remakes of foreign shows, there are a bunch of them all ready and probably there will be more to come. Please ABS-CBN put on your creativity hat and come up with something new and original series. Don't be contented with just remakes and please set your aspirations and ambitions higher. Don't settle being a copy cat, you guys can do better.

Based on the link you provided, I only saw GMA made 7 remakes and ABS-CBN made 5 remakes base off on that link only.. Anyway, regardless, I thinnk GMA writers are much better at coming up with a wide variety of new and original series and some of it are even kakaiba so to speak.
DeLaCruzer11 yes i know. ABSCBN remakes telenovelas as well. I didn't say that they have never made a telenovela remake, pero thepoint is pareho silang gumagawa. At yung opinion mong GMA 7 has better writers, eh opinyon mo yun. I won't argue with that. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Mga kababayan, boycott po natin ang mga REMAKES or RECYCLED show para naman matutung gumawa ulit ng bago at original na teleserye ang abs-cbn. Huwag po kayong maging contento sa mga ukay-ukay remakes o second hand shows dahil RECYCLED show lang po ang mga remakes. Predictable po at parang replay lang ng mga show na iyan, dahil alam nyo na ang mangyayari kung napanood nyo na ang original. Alam nyo na kung papaano mag-a-unfold. Saan yung excitement doon? Sana huwag na po kayong maging contento sa mga ganitong second hand na binibigay sa inyo ng ABS-CBN. You guys deserved better than this. Let us all push ABS-CBN to reformed themselves. Let us tell them NO MORE RECYCLED SHOW. WE DEMAND NEW, ORIGINAL, and BETTER SHOWS.. Let us push ABS-CBN to innovate, modernized, and demand them to create better dramas and tv shows that we can all be happy about. Papayag ba kayo ng ganyan na lang talaga ang Philippine TV? Kung ayaw nyong magiging another "jeepney" ang pilippine television, sana mag-demand kayo sa ABS-CBN na magbigay sila nag bago, original, at better na mga shows. huwag palaging mga REMAKE o RECYCLED shows. Hey no biggie, Korea will remake Japanese drama "Nodame Cantabile" so they are guilty as well, got it
Me Guerrero that was not the point but still, it's a biggie when abs-cbn can not come up with something as good as kdramas and even then, these abs-cbn remakes can't come close to the original because remakes from PH always tend to suck, plus the production value is not as good as the original. When korea remakes another country's drama, it rival or even exceed the merits of the original while our remakes are downgrades.
DeLaCruzer11 keep in mind that the trend is now in K-Drama... Philippines remakes will not be at par with the original since people are regarding K-Drama's quality so high. ABS-CBN produced and is still producing quality dramas that's being exported to other countries in ASIA. It's just that K-Drama is the center of the attention.
Ernie Veniegas so the trend is now in K-Drama? so what does that mean, they have to keep on remaking foreign dramas rather than concentrating in coming up with their own new and original series that can be as good as kdramas. yes, ABS-CBN still produces dramas and some of those are being exported but despite that, there are still a lot of issues that needs to be addressed like the usual criticism of teleseryes such as paulit-ulit na plot, predictable, ubos na ng ideas ang mga writers, recycled elements, remakes na naman, over extension, ang tagal matapos, etc. Shouldn't they be trying to fix those and other issues with teleseryes so that future teleseryes can become at par with kdramas and maybe one day, teleserye will even become the center of attention? they need to challenge themselves and people should not be too contented with just remakes especially if it's going to be only a downgrade.
To answer your question, Yes! it is the trend now. Look around you and wherever it is, It's Korean. Even USA is remaking K-Shows. Remaking doesn't make a country lesser.
