- (No Commentary Showcase) In this video, I show off a Dark Gaia over Giganto mod in Sonic Frontiers. This mod completely replaces Giganto with Dark Gaia, the final boss in Sonic Unleashed.

This is a very well made mod, and is rigged very nicely over Giganto. Sonic Frontiers having Super Sonic boss fights really made this feel a lot like Sonic Unleashed, especially with Sonic Unleashed music. Sonic Unleashed has one of my favorite final bosses ever, so this scores even more points from me. My only real complaint is the process of making your way up Dark Gaia, as it's quite hard to navigate due to the invisible collision. Other than that, it's a fantastic mod and a must have for Sonic Unleashed fans.

That would be pretty cool seeing cyberspace bosses like they just have Perfect Chaos, Biolizard, Metal Overlord, Ultimate Gemerl, Black Doom, Mephiles, Captain Whiskers, Ifrit, Dark Gaia, Erazor Djinn, King Arthur, Nega Mother Wisp, Time Eater and Infinite

Honestly it brings back so many memories of my childhood, it's uncanny. If only the actual dark Gaia boss was this intense.

@@xdgaming70 I'd have to respectfully disagree. It was indeed a good boss, but imo I feel this one is more accurate with the lore of supersonic, being that he's invulnerable to all threats,(physical or magical) whereas in unleashed, chunks of earth are dangerous and can kill you if you hit them too much.

Scaling is off for the size of Dark Gaia but man this gives us some serious insight in this form of how well of a hell of a fight we got going here. I love this! Man the love is truly here for this!
his size was always weird in unleashed. When you first see him, he's big as or bigger than the planet itself, his size alone causing it to break apart. Suddenly when he's completed, he is small enough to fit in the core of the earth.
@@25shadow11 That is true when you think it about it. I mean look at Chip. His I would guess real form is that massive temple collosus so in reality they can take any shape, size and form.

I feel like the only reason this mod exists is due to giganto and dark gia’s similar defeat animations. (Also the climbing part looks like hell)
We already know modders are capable of changing animations, so I wonder if we could ever get to a point of completely original bossfights in Frontiers, model changes, sound changes, animation changes, possibly QTE changes? Upscale and HDify certain models, style them to look more Frontiersy, and boom. (wouldn't be easy, but the Sonic community continues to surprise us) God dayum that would be so sick
You could also technically remake/remaster any bossfight from the series, LIKE IMAGINE A REMADE PERFECT CHAOS BOSSFIGHT, ACTUALLY THROWING HANDS WITH CHAOS GAAAAAWD
This is SOO COOL, I really wish the model would have changed to perfect dark gaia when the light show happens but for what it is this is amazing

Idk man. Yeah the end was an unfinished concept. But it was never stated it's defeated. The end is literally free now and if that thing turns into (whatever it wanted to turn into), it might be way more terrifying than dark gaia. We'll either get it's final form in the upcoming dlc or the sequel. Maybe Hyper Sonic will make a return because the end is so powerful

It would be cool if in future DLC Cyberspace would let us fight old bosses again. Reimagined to be like the Titan bosses.
Imagine a new metal version of Open Your Heart with Perfect Chaos. Live and Learn with the Biolizard. The lyric version of Endless Possibilities with Dark Gaia. And maybe Reach For The Stars with the Mother Wisp (I know that was DS version but the Nega Wisp Robot was pretty lackluster and didn’t even need Super Sonic).

@Stikram While this is true, and even base Sonic has far surpassed Dark Gaia by this point, it would still be an amazing villain to see return, however... It would have to be done in a game that is like Forces or Generations because the Light Gaia and Dark Gaia are now asleep for 10s of thousands of years.
But I imagine with how Frontiers modding is, we'll see a kinda remaster to this bossfight at some point
I think this is the first time I can say “unleashed should’ve done it like this modern Sonic game” and not the other way around.

You should had used the Unleashed Sonic mod, it fits so much with this mod.

In my opinion while good the fight taking place in the day time is a little distracting so I’d wait till nighttime to fight dark Gaia or if it’s possible do it in the supreme arena

Modders need to figure out how to edit the hitbox to their models. It's cool, but looks jank AF.

Ok. Yeah. Now I am hoping for some Powerpuff Girls mods for Sonic Frontiers. And I have the part with the titan boss themes figured out for them.
Blossom - Undefeatable (which means Blossom vs Giganto)
Buttercup - Break Through It All (which means Buttercup vs Wyvern)
Bubbles - Find Your Flame (which means Bubbles vs Knight)
And funny enough, with Craig's reboot of the Powerpuff Girls (latest one) will be coming soon, which is taking a page from DuckTales 2017, which sounds like a good thing. ^^ So hope someone notices this idea of mine here for mods. :3

Looks amazing but i think that fight of dark Gaia will work better with wivern when i fight wivern his moves and fight form reminds me of Dark Gaia but it's a incredible mod keep goin 🥰
