Hes not coming back. He just wanted to test the dlc a bit with grubby. He is currently very busy with (a) aoe2 tournaments(s)
He told on stream that he will probably will playing more next week, but never going to all-in it because it messes up all the muscle memory for aoe2

It’s hard for a tournament player to play on multiple games and he’s said he’ll hop on AoE4 casually but AoE2 will be his main priority.

While I love to see all the new factions, I do hope we'll get some of the new factions playing against the old ones soon. That I think better shows their relative strength and mechanics, since it is compared to something we know better.

23:30 The zhuge nu might be a good counter to samurai since they actually fire several bolts per "shot", so even if they absorb all the first shots with the reflective armor, that's still just a third of the voley's damage.
Since TheViper isn't streaming any AoE4, can we assume Dorngo is bascially stalking him now? I mean, in a good way, showcasing great gameplay.

When you reach the semi-pro level (as good as Viper was, he was at best the equivalent of a foreigner semi-pro in SCBW, and the Korean pros are twice as strong), it takes you only up to three games to get back into the flow.
In contrast, if you are a Gold rank player or any other journeyman, it will take you much longer to get back into the game because you were never that deep in it to begin with to build that permanent muscle memory - you'll retain maybe 20-40% of the muscle memory compared to 80%+ for a high level player.
Shinobi can be op if u can attack multiple locations at once. Just get los with scout turn into their villager from your base. Initiate siege from one side calvary goes deep amd shinobi sits on their resources and if u have a few of them you can alternate them to hit the unit production buildings and disable them as u go back to getting vill kills with shinobi meanwhile their forces are split and weakened. Yal just dont use them rignt 🤣a shinobi can kill 3 horsemen alone
