Watching this video i almost got angry with myself, is it really this easy to make a model car? Why didn´t i make cars like this for my room as a kid, i could have made all the cool cars as M3, 190 2.3E, 240 Z and so on.. But then i came to my senses. The reason why i did not make these models, is because it shure looks easy, but it shure is not. This model is the work of a true probuilder, you could probably take away the cardboard and replace it with clay, plastic, wood or something else, the resault would be the same: professional. This is one of the coolest ways to make you own model car i have ever seen. You, Sir, are a true expert.

nice car model choice, great build, nice work, i was having an idea but don't know if it's worth the result, when you finished the body BEFORE the primer painting, i thought maybe adding a mastic layer on the whole body and sand it with a very thin sand paper, but also when finishing 3 coats of painting + clear coat, smoothly sanding a bit and then apply a polish, that way you could clean that orange peal from the paint.
See don't get me wrong if i rater like a smooth painted body, because your work defenitly is great.
My opinion is more like a question , is it possible that mastic layer could help smoothing such cardboard project, looking identicaly like a Tamiya plastic model ?

Good job! Use paper clay with wood glue for filler. Paint with Sanding Sealer before sanding.
