I've always been curious and fascinated by all the interaction with the organ with your feet and this was a perfect explanation! Thanks for making this video :)
An athletic event, yet with such grace! It must take a strong torso/core to maintain fluid balance on your sit bones on the bench. Your whole "dance" at the organ is so expressive. Thanks so much for this video perspective!
Excuse my language but "Holy Shit" from Ireland! I have a son who is a number 1 musical artist travelling the world making albums. I introduced him to learning more from other artists. I only recently was introduced to your abilities. You are absolutely wonderful! Such coordination with such a great personality. He's in Singapore atm and I'll meet him in a few days. Be assured this video will make him humble. Well done girl, I have you on a pedestal! S
I often sit in the balcony at church and watch the organists play. I am so amazed at all they can do. This has got to be one of the hardest instruments to learn
Busy fingers...busy feet...and keeping time and always with that Anna Smile! That organ sound will always send me to magical places when I hear it! MOO From COW-lumbus, Ohio 👋
Meanwhile, I'm struggling to keep my feet coordinated enough to work the high-hats and bass drum, the 3 petals on an upright piano, clutch and throttle on my car, or a sobriety test. You have my undying respect for your talents
Anna, that was incredible to see - what a mental and physical workout. I don't even think I could manage just the boxes, let alone everything else. It truly is an art and talent 😮❤ Thanks for sharing
My first instrument I learned to play was (dreaded to parents), the Tonette. Then came the ukulele (I live in Hawaii, after all). Then my parents bought a Baldwin Electronic organ with two keyboards and pedals! Actually got pretty good at it, flying feet and all. But the contacts for the voice switches kept on failing and the repair costs (in home repairs only) kept going up so we had to send the poor beast to the curb. No one wanted to buy it (they only wanted digital keyboards, the insufferable snobs).
Fabulous. I remember hearing you say how learning to use your feet kept you back for a while. You have obviously resolved that hurdle with panache. Will you be releasing the music for Pirates? My daughter has learned your Dragons, and we NEED her to now play something else! Please… 😅
This is the organ equivalent of watching Neil Peart, or any of the really great drummers, when they’ve got four limbs doing entirely different things. It’s pretty mind-blowing! My brain fries, and can only come up with “BUT HOW???”
Agreed. Not only the actual setting, but a behind the scenes tour of the technology involved in making the changes to the stops. Hopefully it is beautifully electro mechanical, reminiscent of a 1960s or 70s telephone exchange, and not the “beating heart” of a computer?
Do you have to slide on the bench to access the pedals at the extreme ends? Do you have to make do with a standard size organ, or is it adaptable to your dimensions?
No words. Playing an Instrument with hands and feet. Having your eyes on the music notes. Art in it's highest form. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing to watch the dance. Thank you for sharing not only your talents but also these “how it’s made” insights.

1:15 Organ Masters are always sold out in my size! (Or other appropriate shoes are an arm and a leg to import)

Im speechless
This is incredible!!! Please keep playing Pirates! ☠️😭
Idk if my brain could ever figure out how to do so many different things at once.
Can i buy/ access this transcription? It sounds amazing and would love to play it myself!

Rubbing your stomach while patting your head never sounded so good
Scientists should seriously study the brains of organ players. This is insane
Which organ, Anna? Royal Albert?
It’s the most complicated instrument in the world for a reason
Operating the foot pedals in your car must feel so boring for you 😅
Actually a dance!
Alot a stop setting changes, I'd be interested to see how you preset the pistons for your various stop setups

No fair... they only had black organ masters back when I still played. *pouts*
