- Jackie Jones Benner, the daughter of a former patient at Howard County General Hospital, is thankful for the compassionate care given to her elderly father. In this video she reads a letter written to the hospital and gives us a glimpse of her wonderful memories.

In June 2023, the hospital was renamed Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center.
This is an incredibly beautiful video and a great reminder of why we need to remember to help our elderly keep their dignity. I'm showing this video to my nursing and allied health students while they're distance learning, and I'm grateful this was created. 🥰
