Lost my father a week ago and its the hardest thing im going thru in my life i just turned 21 and he always loved shannon noll in the car singing along to this with him now all i can do is cry when i hear this

My father passed away in hospital a week after a massive heart attack in 2017. He was a great role model to me, and I try to live the values he taught me. I miss you, Dad.

This song brings me to tears every time. It reminds me of my dad and his father. I loved my papou, but no one loved him more than my dad, and this just describes everything he felt for him. My father is a brilliant man but sometimes he doesn't see it, because he saw his own dad as the best.

even though me and my dad barely get along, him and his dad barely got along, when my grandad died, a very large amount of respect and gratitude was still there, this song is all about that
My dad was an alcoholic and he was hard work but he still lives on in my mind and not all the memories are bad. He had a good but strange sense of humour.. i spent alot more time with him than the rest of our family. He drove my brother and mother wild with despair. He had his own demons.

My Dad when I was two years old. I hope he's proud of me cause if anyone knows me for all my rights and wrongs I guess it would be him.
That's really sad, man. He would have loved you regardless. No man can find fault in his son! My parents got divorced and I spent a good deal of my life not making a real effort to talk to my dad but after a near-death car crash I had recently I was really surprised dad said he didn't know what he would have done if I died.
