This game is still using Rosetta 2. Just wrote to feral interactive about a week ago about them optimizing the last 3 tomb raider games natively for Apple Silicon, since they’re the current publishers for the games on MacOS, so hopefully that happens :) Also, how low would the settings and resolution have to be to get a locked 120 fps on the M4 mac mini, and is ray tracing and metalfx supported in this game on the M4 mac mini?
@@mrmacrightplusOk, that’s unfortunate, since this was one of the first games, along with minecraft, to support ray tracing, and metalfx would go a long way towards higher fps on Mac, since the PC/Windows version has upscaling and ray tracing support. Hopefully this happens one day, when porting games becomes so easy, that private users can just port games in such a simple way, that it doesn’t take more know how than AI upscaling videos, and just takes time and compute power. Tired of waiting on developers to do relatively simple and cost effective work, like porting iOS games to Mac or reverse. Also, please test tomb raider 2013 and Rise of the tomb raider.

Feral told me a while ago they have no plans to update the game for Apple silicon. It also does not support Ray Tracing on any Mac.
