Thanks for mentioning what happened to Maeve Boothby O'Neil and acknowledging the real horror that ME sufferers can go through. I've had ME for many years, and it has taken a will of iron to find any sort of a path through it. Our suffering simply is ignored - we suffer the equivalent of the effects of chemo day after day and yet are routinely doubted and disbelieved. The level of research funding is abysmal. Without in any way disparaging the ravages of M.S. - this is the clearest example I can find of the funding disparity. In 2023, during a parliamentary review, it was discussed that there are 110,000+ MS sufferers to 2500000+ ME/CFS sufferers. MS receives 20x more funding for research. We are utterly invisible in our agony.
I know you do not agree with everything Richard D hall purports to be true but I think getting Richard on your show would be a plus both to you and Richard.

In Scotland, the co op shops put cash notes into something that sounds very much like a shredder!
I worked at scotmid it’s defo not a shredder, it keeps a large amount of cash safe and it’s emptied and put in the safe at the end of the night

I bought an item at denhelm not long ago and paid in cash and the 'cashier' remarked to the 'cashier' next to her ooh this feels so weird, cash, and the other one said ooh I know it just seems well dodgy. I was made to feel like a criminal for paying with cash! I will continue to forever pay in cash.

Re: KPop - you are absolutely right about how those poor kids are made to live. But what is really interesting is that many KDramas highlight the kinds of abuse that happen in the music industry, business, politics and in schools. There are some incredibly creative individuals and studios in South Korea. It's fascinating.
But also - the collapsing kids can also be due to a particular enforced medical treatment.... Happening in sports too.

Hello Sonia, Thankyou for this informative and insightful upload. I remember an act on X Factor, around 7 years ago. A Malaysian female act. 4 sisters (allegedly) all very polite, nice girls, and to be fair exceptionally talented IMO....but i always suspected there was something more to their creation....you're probably not a huge fan of said programme, but I'd be interested in your views, if any. They were called 4th impact. Keep up the good work, really enjoy your investigative journalism and analysis. ❤

Not quite correct on the cash thing: If they refuse to take your cash as payment of your debt (after eating in a restaurant or having your hair done etc), they cannot claim you owe them anything. They have refused to let you settle the debt.
