they have an oddly large... or perhaps tall hitbox. You could do it flying much lower though, just need to wait for times where there are no heavy waves. In fact them making the hitbox smaller would mean it would be much easier to fly over the red buoys.
@@barrynaude4250 turn off the plane flying assist in the options and you need to hold the handbrake button to enable extreme mode, during which you turn tighter. on xbox its "X", on playstation it should be square.
i knew i forgot to add something. Worry not though, I use all default settings for my runs. Just be aware that I use Pure/Skilled Scorebreaker and Extreme Mode/Skilled Scorebreaker based on which feat, but i show which set I use at the end of each run in this video.
I use a Zivko Edge and Mustang P51 (sometimes). I show which planes were used at the end of each of the feats. I used default pro settings for all of them, so no adjustments needed.
I hold X (Xbox) Square (Playstation) while flying to enable extreme mode and I also use an Extreme Mode/Skilled Scorebreaker set for doing buoy smashing, speccing into extreme mode lets you turn tighter, i show what set i use at the end of each feat.
I used to do it with peacock, but you would need to do another escape since they nerfed peacock rewards. I actually have a video on how to get parts for planes, where I show one method involving the Kingdom of Lani event where you can cut a bunch of gates when you set difficulty to the lowest. This very fast if you happen to have a loot digger set already or once you have one. Milita Gaming Community aka Trigger also made one guide for planes recently, showing the current best Escape, but honestly any escape that is short and not peacock flats will be somewhat quick.
It's funny how this type of video won't get the love it deserves but someone playing the same game can be like "Haha, I can't believe I hit that wall" can get 100's of Thousands of views.... Great video bud and I hope this gets the love it deserves because these small planes are a pain to fly like this if you don't know what you're doing
hey, thanks mate. Yeah no worries, I am no stranger to low view counts, but I am always happy to see and aware the high impact some of these videos have ultimately. Some of my specific guides for my vrchat creators are still being shared around to people in that niche community after all these years. My VR180 videos are actually quite popular on deovr. I also tend to get more comments per views, which I much prefer. I am successful elsewhere, in areas that matter, so this channel is just some side hobby for me anyway. So all in all what do you think is better, to have an influence on a large audience of people or to have an influence on those who influence large audiences? I much prefer the latter, as it allows me to meet interesting people online.
I was doing a boat slalom and I saw the ghost of a guy flying the plane on knife flight. I really had to search his ID on here. You have mad skill with this plane, congrats 🫡
Buoy smashing is the mode truly making me go question mark, the plane does not even touch them!

Youre crazy precise!
thx mate! I got 12000 km mileage on the zivko, pretty much all I do besides summits lol.

thanks! Looks like this hour of pure agony was worth it after all. I kept tilting my head as I went for those slaloms lol.
