Rush is a legendary Hall of Fame Band! They are some of the best musicians that ever lived. Parents took their children to see them generation after generation because they are pure musical nerds. No sex or bad language, just pure musical talent to be enjoyed by all ages. Rush is so very special!
Three absolute gentlemen from Canada showed the world how it is DONE, every show! I saw them 3 times myself, but the last time was Clockwork Angels tour in Nashville, TN. These guys NEVER disappointed ever.
Ahhhhh Neil Pert the Professor!!!!! In my humble opinion the most technically proficient percussionist to have ever lived! RIP your music will live on forever!!!
This song is bad ass! I’m 53 years old growing up I was in a huge rush fan. My husband loved this band but as I got older, I see them from a different viewpoint and now I love Rush.
👍🏼I keep coming back to this one. (I’m also 53) I liked this a lot at the time, and many others. Rediscovered my love and pride as a Canadian 10-12yrs ago. Didn’t appreciate how incredibly talented each of them were 30+yrs ago.
My FAV Band of all time. Saw them in concert mort than any other band. Neil Peart the Drummer is said by many to be the GOAT of all Drummers, He wrote all the Lyrics too, from Canada.
You need to check out the drummer Neil Peart's solo live in Frankfurt. It is incredible. It's been said that Neil Peart is your favorite drummer favorite drummer. Incredible talent. Sadly he passed away a few years ago with brain cancer.
One of the most talented, classy, & greatest metal rock bands to ever lay down a track. Neil Peart's bangin' those drums in "rock 'n' roll heaven" now, & we can hear him when it thunders.
Great Canadian band! That's alot of music for only 3 people...Another great Canadian trio is Triumph. Follow your heart would be a great one to do a reaction. Stampeders, Wild eyes would be another Canadian trio to check out.
Rush released its eponymous debut album in March 1974. Since then, they have achieved 24 gold records and 14 platinum (3 multi-platinum) records. According to the RIAA, Rush's sales statistics also place them third behind the Beatles and the Rolling Stones for the most consecutive gold or platinum albums by a rock band. Well worth a deep dive.
Shawn- what you called a house is really a full- scale recording outfit called Le Studio in the countryside near Montreal. The Brit group The Police have recorded there, among many others. Make all the noise you want, disturb nobody. Greetings from Canada- peace and be safe. PS a tune you will both love is "The Bazaar" LIVE by the Windsor, Ontario band The Tea Party or if it's too hard to find "Sister Awake" by them is more easily available.
Thanks guys for this reaction! Rush made songs that had talons. They grabbed you, shook you up, and did not let go til they were done. But they were never done with you. You'd play them again and again and be grabbed hold of AGAIN.
Great reaction folks! You just opened up a massive rabbit hole with what’s commonly referred to as the “Holy Trinity “. I will be looking forward to your reactions to “Spirit of Radio”, “Limelight”, “YYZ”, “Freewill” to name a few of their most popular songs. You will be entertained, enlightened and mesmerized regardless of where in their forty plus year discography you end up.
Greatest band of all time lyrically and musically try driven, half the world, big money, lock and key, turn the page, mission, marathon, lakeside park cut to the chase
Time to go down the Rush rabbit hole. Now you need to listen to working man live in Cleveland, YYZ live in Rio, Xanadu exit stage left. That’s just to start. Perhaps the greatest three piece band EVER!!
I first heard RUSH in 1976, from a radio station in Boston( could hear some nights in Nova Scotia) Did not hear them live till the late 80s (Power Windows Tour) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada! Best Live prog-rock Canadian 3-man band ever!!😀👌👍✌
Love the reaction, the smiles and the movements of you both. Rush is not a dance band but your movements to the music were incredible. Having a great view of a younger generation watching and hearing bands pre 90's, your reactions were inspiring. Just a side note for you, only 3 members make up the band, mostly a single singer, drummer wrote most of the lyrics. Big smile from me on watching you listen. Cheers.
He has the best falsetto (high-pitched) voice in rock !! RIP Neil Peart, best drummer ever! Don't know if you guys are still around. Used to be a member for a bit, but got sick. Gotta love the Oriole's cap Shawn !! My dad was born in Owings Mills, and I just watched the Ravens win NFL ! I'm 70, and we grew up watching the Baltimore Colts, because my dad played golf with Johnny Unitas ! I was knee-high to a grasshopper..lol, watching football.🤗😊🏈⚾🎸🙏

"Exit the warrior, today's Tom Sawyer, he gets high on you and the energy you trade, he gets right onto the friction of the...day" Neil had serious bars that only Geddy could deliver
You just witnessed the best drummer percussionist to ever get behind a drum kit. RIP. Neil Peart your favorite drummer's favorite drummer. You should do yyz live in Rio or Sport of Radio live 2003 watch 450,000 people go nuts. I know I was one of those 450,000 who was there as Sars Stock Toronto 03

I'm so sorry that haters put that crap out because I've been a subscriber to the channel for 6 months or so & I love your reactions because their just wholesome & honest. Keep doing what you guys do, loving music & sharing positive vibes because it's working. If we wasted our time worrying about how others perceive us, omg, what a miserable existence it would be..... Yes, this is a banger....
