Subwoofers are almost never a one size fits all! But at $299 could this be a subwoofer that even your friends and family that aren't into home audio/home theater buy? Would you consider this sub for a bedroom or office setup? How many would you put into your shopping cart for various systems in your home? Thanks for watching, and if you so choose thanks for subscribing!

Well that was a waste of 6 min. The just looked at the website and read a few words off it.
Thanks for saving me the time, cheers
Enjoy the WE fellas😊😊😊
It's the 10s with 100 watts less and fewer connectors etc, and a change to the port I think (10s is more complex/flared, this is just a slot). This should be *the* sub to get if your budget is pinched. I'd put this up as a competitor to an SB 1000 from SVS etc, for way less.
My budget is super pinched. My receiver has two sub outs so maybe I get this and if I need a little more bass I can connect my old 100watt sub to the second sub out on receiver or use the speaker outs on the old sub. 🤔
It’s a simpler port, a stamped frame, 100 less watts and they passed all those savings on.
Goes to 22hz
😂😂😂 Lol, a cone without a dust cap.
Lol. What is it called? I can't think of the name. I don't just mean inverted dust cap, it's when it looks seamless. - Joe
@@DailyHiFi I was laughing from Erin's comments - not the incorrectness of the name for the cap :))
I realized later after rewatching. I totally forgot he said that. 😂 @@crazydwarfer
Sorry I mean rsl 10e Nemo review had the specs

Stamped vs cast basket, budget class D amp. But its 40lbs with 3/4" MDF. I have dual 10" bottom ported Mirage Omni subs that are very similar to this 10E size and weight. They absolutely play down to the lower 20Hz range and are wonderful with music. If this 10E was designed properly, it will take over the budget market. Better order fast, if they are the real deal it may be impossible to get one.
Really jealous that you have so many subwoofers to chose from in north america
There are great subs in Europe also, including stuff not sold in the US as far as I know, like BK Electronics.
@@KimmoJaskari Yeah BK is quite nice but that's about it. We don't have JTR, HSU, RSL, Starke sound, Rythmik and SVS is a lot more expensive.
There are subs from the usual hifi companies but they don't perform on the same level as those subwoofer company subs (according to most data I've seen) and if you want more than a 10" or 12" your options are even more limited
4 RSL 10E's ($1200) or 2 SVS PC-2000 ($1800)or 2 Starke Sound 15S ($1200)....what would you choose???
I would go with the Starke (currently on sale) or the RSL 2nd choice unless the 10" box size is a benefit for you.
4 subs can help with room response of course but depending on your room, maybe dual sw15p could be better.
I am skipping the SVS option as the other 2 offer better performance at a lower price overall
Nemo did a review on esl 10e
Nemo is the one who hooked me up with RSL to review their stuff. - Joe
Just ordered my 10e today, can't wait to get it in!!!
So how is it?
@@issaciams best sub for the price point, I prefer passive subs but this still kicks and it's loud too. It performs okay in music but it's great for movies.
@@andgamingtech6964 cool thank you.
Erin coming with a zinger! Let's GOOOOOO!
Goes down to 26hz aneholic
Sounds too good to be true. I have the 10s MKll and it will not shut off when set to auto. Emailed RSL they said it is ok to leave it on but it stays warm so I emailed them to ask if turning it off is ok as far as lifespan, never heard back. That was 2 years ago. So far it still functions properly turning it off and on manually. I was going to order many of these for several systems in several homes but just wanted to try 1 to start with. The lack of communication with RSL made me choose another brand.
